Wagon Wheel Pizza of Melbourne — Restaurant in Melbourne

Felt so unwelcome in this place. As soon as I walked up to the line it was somebody else before me and when the lady finished helping them she just walked away without helping me and literally made no effort to acknowledge me and I had to sit there looking stupid for minutes until I finally was able to get her attention to take my order and when she did her attitude was stale towards me even though I was friendly and she just handed my order off to another lady and walks off and the lady she handed me off to to take the order she just decided to take a call instead of finishing up with me. After a minute on the phone she takes my order and doesn't even tell me my total or anything she just walks away and I sit there for a good 20 plus minutes for them to tell me my total for 2 slices of pizza. I came here for my wife because she praises the location in Palm Bay so she wanted some food from here since we were in the area but clearly was a different story at this location...

In one word, underwhelming. Tonight my family and I went in to try wagon wheel pizza. We saw from the beginning that it was very busy and encouraged by that sight as it usually means a place is good. We seated ourselves and waited patiently, it took a while for us to be greeted. I do believe the waiting staff was working very hard but was drowning with the demand. Our service did suffer but I don't think it was for their lack of trying. My main issue comes down to the food. We started off with an appetizer of bacon cheese fries. When we received our fries my wife and I both looked at each other as "seriously, this is what you get for 9 dollars? Ouch". Very poor cheese fries and felt I could do better at home with 30 seconds in the microwave. The pizza arrived and looked good but wasn't all that great, nothing I feel like I couldn't get anywhere else or better elsewhere for a much better price. We came, we saw, we are...

As a family that does not get to order out that often, tonight was supposed to be a real treat. We ordered at 6 and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. When my wife gets there to pick up the order she had to wait till 650. She come home with the order and that's when thr surprises started. She ordered a chicken and bacon Stromboli with NO BBQ SAUCE. I ordered the meat Stromboli we also ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza and fried mushrooms. This was to all feed our family of 4. My wife cut into her Stromboli to find it was loaded with BBQ Sauce and the ranch that came with it was mostly water. And the slice of pizza was folded onto itself stuffed into a bag. We wound up just throwing the food away and making our kids sandwiches for dinner. I know to some $40 is not a lot of money, to my family it is. Hope this review helps any other families that are...
