My boyfriend and I have been a long time customers for this Dominos location. We used to go so much that the employees knew our name. Very friendly & the food was delicious. That was not the experience tonight. I walk into & get greeted "NAME?!?" by a female worker. I tell her the name the order is under and she asks if the pizza was a large. I tell her that it is not. She then talks to her coworker about the medium handmade pan that was ordered. The person she spoke to told her that it has to be that large pizza order. The lady who "greeted" me walks up and asks me for the order #. Apparently that order was given to the wrong customer. That is perfectly fine, we all make mistakes. She tells me it will be about 7 minutes because they have to remake it. Fine. I wait about 10 minutes. Once the pizza was ready, the lady that greeted me says, "All set". No apology. I say thank you and leave.
Only two people were wearing masks while making food. One female & one male with long brown hair. The gentleman with the long brown hair wearing a mask was the most polite person there. Greeted me after I was greeted rudely by the female & tried to assist with my order. No one had a name tag on, so I can't specify who was who.
What a disappointment. Not sure what happened here. There used to be very kind workers when we would go to the Dominos in Melrose. Dominos was the only "fast food" pizza place we would eat. We will gladly pay extra and eat at authentic italian restaurants because they have such good customer service. We will not eat...
Read moreThe level of disrespect received from the Melrose, MA location tonight is unfathomable. The quality of the food received was by far the worst even after speaking with the manager about delivery issues. On top of it all, the delivery driver left the food outside and it is currently 34 degrees. The note said to ring our apartment number and before we could open the door through the doorbell ring camera, the driver was gone. Within seconds, the driver sped off. This was an order that was supposed to arrive by 8:40PM and never arrived. Cole, the person that was delivering the order the first time, never pulled into the property as seen on the tracker. Because Cole went back to the restaurant, we had asked if the food could be remade because it had been so long, and the manager agreed only after the verbal altercation (the pizza box says 7:58pm, so they never remade it.) By 10PM we finally received the order, and the food looked and felt like it had been sitting out for hours which clearly it was.
We love Dominos but wouldn't recommend...
Read moreI visited the Domino’s at the Melrose location today, When I walked in, I greeted the staff member, but he did not respond. He pointed at me with his head instead of speaking, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I explained that I had placed an order, and when I asked if a coupon could be applied, he told me it should have been mentioned over the phone and seemed frustrated. He eventually helped me, but his communication felt unfriendly — he did not reply when I said “thank you” several times, or even when my son said “bye.”
I understand that working alone can be stressful, and I appreciate that he completed my order, but the interaction left me feeling unwelcome. Customer service and a simple kind response can make a big difference in a customer’s day. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving the...
