After seeing a friend of mine going every Tuesday you know Taco Tuesday only a Buck each it's a Mexican Town 2.0 tradition since we now have more Authentic Mexican eating spots than SW DETROIT. Yes got 3 Campachano Tacos a mixture of Steak and Chorizo spot on delicious. Had Al Pastor topped Sopes (pronounced ‘so-pez’) are part of a special category of Latin American food called antojitos, the Mexican version of Spanish tapas. It means “little whim” or “little craving,” and, trust me, “craving” is the most appropriate word for these crispy, savory little treats. Also a Asada topped Huaraches, Like a giant, open-face taco, huaraches are oblong corn tortillas piled high with toppings—here it's tender steak, topped with grated cheese, salsa roja, sauteed steak, this classic street food OMG fabulous. This is a hidden gem if there ever was one! The food is authentic as can be, that's for certain. The young lady who works there is absolutely AMAZING when it comes to explaining what everything is, she is beyond patient and so sweet! She deserves more than I'm sure she is paid working for family. I'm not sure how old she is but my guess is that she is still in high school and there are VERY FEW teenagers that are that dedicated and helpful. Most of them today get irritated when you ask a question. I wish I could remember her name but she has been there all 3 times I have been in and always the same smile going out of her way to come out from behind the counter and explain the desserts too! I don't think I've had better food or service in quite some time! If you're in the area and have a chance to stop in and grab a snack or dinner, you won't regret it! So if you want a visual of the place, it's a small Mexican grocery store with fresh homemade pastry and sweets,a deli, and specialty items. Then in the back there's a restaurant. Order at the counter or they will come to one of the 4 or so tables. Don't picture overcrowding because it's not at all, they have everything with plenty of room to move and even have a quiet dinner in the back. First time stopping in and I ordered a steak quesadilla and oooooweee it is fricking good!! Def will b going back to try other items off the menu 👌 well worth the ten bucks 🔥

Oct 31st n I’ve been getting the breakfast burrito in which I even asked and they said scrambled eggs come in em and yet twice now I’ve gotten a fried egg in it! The more I eat here the less consistent they become. Seeems to b no set standard just make stuff how u want that given day 🤷🏻‍♂️ Update as of sept 2025 I still go here a lot and like once a week the size of what I order completely changes for the worse.
