Subway — Restaurant in Lincoln Park

Only reason I gave 2 stars is because my order was ready on time. The website said that this location's drive thru was available for use. The drive thru was closed. In fact, it looks like it hasn't been used in ages. Both the website, & big sign on the window so that curbside service was available. My visit determined that both of those were a lie. I even called the store 3 times letting the phone ring at least 20 to 30 times each attempt, only to be ignored, in a futile attempt to get the employee to bring my order out to me.

So I end up having to drag my disabled but out of my vehicle and into the store to get my order. Employee was off to doing God knows what, God knows where as I had to wait for him to get to the counter in order to get my food. What's I was finally successful in getting my sandwich, I practically had to beg him for the cup for my beverage. When I was finally able to sing my teeth into my sandwich, it appeared to my sandwich looked like nothing, not resembled anything anywhere close, to what I ordered.

I wanted to take advantage of the 6.99 footlong special that the have going on until September 8th. I was informed that it had to be ordered online which I didn't recall that in the advertisement of tv. I took the time to order one online in the store and had a lot of difficulty with it. Doing things online and apps, etc. does not come as easy as pie as does to our grandchildren and great-children. One of the staff made an effort to help a few times and said that it never went through. When I began to drive off, she called back and said that it did come through. As she was preparing the sandwich, I realized that I was still charged the full price and brought it to her attention. She said, that it was buy one, get one free. I told her that we both knew that's not what the ad said, so I asked her to give me the other the should have for free. She refused. I told her, that if I was not so hungry I would not buy the sandwich. I felt like they should have made the adjustment somehow. They really went overboard on the AC. Got food poisoning from their rotisserie chicken sandwich the chicken was blue and moldy when I looked at it. UNREAL POISONING CUSTOMERS CORPORATE IS GETTING THE PICS! Place should be shut down.
