Checkers — Restaurant in Memphis

by far the worst experience by far I've ever had at a Checkers. I was thinking new location, new management, good service. boy was I sadly mistaken. 1st off, I asked what all came on the French onion burger and it went downhill from there. they start talking slow like I'm some special education resource kid. I overlook this childish immature act because I figured they're either trying to impress a boy or either they're new to Memphis. that and I really was looking forward to a Checkers burger. but anyways, I order. get to the window and pay, so they ask me to pull around and wait on my order that it was going to come out fresh. so I pulled over and parked. I waited not 10, not 20, but going on 22 minutes and I decide to get out of my car and go inside. when I get inside, let me also say that every person inside and out had already left with their food that was way after me. nobody at all left in the parking lot except 1 car pulled in as soon as I was walking in. the lady proceeds to the register about a minute or so after I walk in and takes their order 1st. then as she's taking their order I see the cook over restocking his condiments, and that set me off. so i requested my money back and she gets upset at me. now this should be irrelevant, but I ordered $18 worth of food, so I was assuming to be treated ag minimum like a human being, not plain white trash as if I came in with 1800 sticky pennies found under car seats or something. but it's just another lesson learned. I know that this review really doesn't matter to the business because they're scared to take action upon any employee for fear of a lawsuit no matter how substantial their actions may be. but consumers beware. all I know is I'll never be back after wasting over a half hour of my life, not to include the gas used in my vehicle, only to be made fun of. I could barely get any rest last night because of the way I was treated, then having to go to bed hungry. it's really ruined my Thursday so I figured I'd share the worst restaurant experience I've had this year...

At this point, I am about over Checker's. Not even sure how they are staying open due to almost each location in Memphis always has some type of problem with taking orders, the coupon machine never works, they can't take cash, or the card machines down. I came to this location, and was told their coupon machine was down which it is rarely ever up at any location that I go to in Memphis. I get the coupons in the mail, so this is what keeps wanting to come, and I have always loved Checker's growing up. I still placed an order anyway due to the worker was nice about telling me. When I got to the window after placing my order, I was told that they didn't have any chicken bites. I just went ahead and cancelled my whole order. I would have left the line if I could have when she said that a machine was down, but I was like I might as well place the order since there was not any way to exit due to they don't have lines where you can drive off. I used to love Checker's as a child, and I would still love them if the service was the same when I was younger. And crazily enough, I was just at another location near State line literally about 2 days ago, and there was an issue due to I tried to place an order to only be told by the worker that they were not open even though it was 11:15a (a normal lunch time hour). I have always loved Checker's burgers and fries, but I guess I won't be back for a...

Came to this establishment for something to eat, was told that they were only accepting online orders. Placed an order and when asked the name of the order, they said that someone had came and picked it up at first. Then they said that they didn't receive an order with that name. Once asked what was on the order, which were the boneless wings, fries, and a drink, they said that they didn't have wings at that store. My thing is how are y'all telling people that y'all are only accepting online orders, but don't even have the food that's online? Paid for it and everything. Hopefully it's just pending and will drop off after a few days. Don't recommend, this place seems to be all over the place. Edited: So they did charge us for this order. Will be disputing. Don't waste your time...
