Firehouse Subs Union Ave-Memphis — Restaurant in Memphis

Last night I ordered the turkey and provolone sub sandwich from this firehouse sub. I ended up leaving a bad review because my order wasn’t right like they messed up my fries order. I ordered regular fries and the new fries but they didn’t give me the regular crinkle fries and the fries I did give me were cold and stale. I complained about my sandwich because they forgot the cucumber now today around the same time maybe an hour earlier I’ll order the exact same sandwich the exact same way but today’s order was way worse so when I went to go eat my sandwich. I took a few bites and it tasted good. I took a couple more bites and it literally tasted like somebody crushed up some kind of pill or something and sprinkled in my sandwich because I know what a pill taste like like if you leave Tylenol on your tongue too long or something like that it’s got that bad awful taste it tasted just like that I don’t know what it was, but the outside bread tasted fine. It was the inside of the sandwich that tasted terrible and you can’t say it was from bad produce because it was completely green lettuce fresh and the turkey looked fresh and tasted fresh until I got to a certain point of the sandwich. Can’t say the meats bad because my husband got the same sandwich but his had different trim on it and he said his taste just fine There’s nothing to complain about with it now I spit out bite that tasted bad. I didn’t eat no more so basically a whole sandwich right there gone to waste. I’m not saying anybody drugged the sandwich but it sure tasted like it and what I’m saying is somebody needs to do an investigation because if that is what happened because I left a bad review then somebody needs to have consequences dealt to them because I have a two year-old daughter who eats my food luckily, I didn’t give her any of the sandwich and I didn’t swallow any of the sandwich. Outside of the rude and disrespectful cashier taking orders, the food is always on point. My husband and I met for lunch here. We have been here several times and it is one of our favorite places to eat. We usually only eat at this location if he is working in the area. I was running a few minutes behind him so I had him to go ahead and order our food. Well while he was placing our order he told the cashier that he wanted my sub to come with chili. And the cashier responded in a very condescending manner, "So you wanna make it a combo" and he said yes. Well she then mumbled under her breath but loud enough to be heard "I just asked you that". Wow!!! So this is how Firehouse trains their employees to interact with their customers? He was very upset but managed to handle it properly buy counteracting with kindness instead of more rudeness. The old him would have said "F&@k it!!" And we would have eaten...

Got my salad today through Uber eats with no salad dressing. I specifically had it delivered due to not being able to leave work. I work from 6am-6pm. Have not eaten today, and still cannot because my order was not checked by the staff. When I called I originally got a male who stated he was the manager, let him know my issue and he told me that it wasn’t his problem, it is not on firehouse. I started to explain to him how it was his issue as a manager you should check the orders are going out correctly and mid sentence there was a woman on the phone. He completely dismissed what I had to say. The woman on the phone stated that Uber drivers should check if drinks and chips are needed but that is not the issue.
