I am a regular at sonic so I have many trips to compare this on to(including many to this exact location). Ordered my large water with lemon and small diet dr. Pepper which is a common order for me. Arrived at my stall and checked in as I do on the app. My name came cross the screen as it does. While waiting, I noticed the screen had gone back to regular status as it does once they are heading out with your order. We are about 10 minutes in now. I push the button and ask about my order. The young lady kept asking me my name as if she couldn't hear. Finally after the 4th time giving my name she said that my order would be out. Another 7-10 minutes passed.at this point a car next tome who pulled up and ordered at the stall has gotten their order. The young lady answers and I ask the status of my order. She said it's coming. You guessed. It didn't. At this point I push the button and ask for a manager. I speak with him and I didn't feel he actually cared. I showed him from the app receipt what time I had placed the order. We were now at 30 minutes in for a water and soda. He retreated and at 35 minutes later I received my order ahead order. I asked for the young lady to send the manager back out and let him know that this was completely unacceptable and ridiculous and that the young lady who I spoke with needs to be talked to. Read moreThe service here is rather unpredictable. Sometimes it is very good and I mean excellent exclamation point or other times it could be pretty bad! Basically there's a lot of young teenage kids that work there. Overall I think they're doing the very best with a busy place. They definitely mostly roller skate very well! And I can give you a few points for that. Also they're pretty fast with bringing the food out. The only problem I usually have with this location of Sonic is they can't hear me on some of the speakers. And they keep asking me to speak up and I'm already yelling. And that's very aggravating at actually just left without even placing an order because they acted like they couldn't hear me on several different times that I've been. I'm not sure if it's the speaker or how the operator in the building is operating the machine. However they need to revamp how they do the orders and there needs to be more supervision of these young people. Like I said overall it's a good experience I'd say 7 out of 10. But the three times out of 10 it's not good it's pretty terrible. Overall it's a good experience usually. They are very busy most of the time and like I said they are mostly teenagers doing their very best. and for their age I think I do a pretty good job of running the place and working there! Read moreI visited the location on Poplar at night with my children. It took forever for them to acknowledge me hitting the red button. The young man who brought my food out was very pleasant, but my order was incorrect so the young man took my drinks back and corrected them the problem was that my son wanted an extra long cheese coney which I ordered I hit the button again and told the young lady about my coney she said that it would be right out, after waiting for more than an hour and at this point my food is now cold, I hit the button for the 5th time and was told that it was heading out the door which it never arrived, I was then told that they WERE OUT OF FOOTLONG CONEYS. Now I understand that supplies are limited due to COVID but all the young lady had to do was say that instead of having me and my children wait with no kind of resolution or acknowledgment. I called and spoke to the manager and she was extremely rude as if I was bothering her! This location needs to either change their staff to more experienced, mature workers or close down because customer service there has been horrible for years.
