I took my little sister and cousin from Chicago to this restaurant for her bday because they wanted to try it. Itâs located in a good area and has a good view. It wasnât busy and had a handful of people in the restaurant. However, If youâre looking for a drink, youâll have to wait because they havenât received their liquor license yet. Apparently itâs not authentic THC because itâs illegal in Tennessee but they use Delta 9 instead. Thankfully, Delta 9 is only in the sauces and not in the actual food. For someone whoâs not a weed smoker, drug user or have even tried Delta 9. I opted into the Nashville hot chicken tenders and loaded tater tots. The food a bit overpriced for the taste and not that great. My chicken tenders were not Nashville hot and then I requested for no bacon on the tots and my order still had them. However, the waitress was knowledgeable about the menu but I think she was too âbakedâ to remember the orders or to even come back to refill our soda drinks. My little sister said her burger melt was good. However, I guess they ran out of bread because the top of burger bun was upside down to replicate Texas toast. At the end I paid almost $90 for me and my little sisterâs meal. Iâm taking the bill included gratuity but we never received the bill because the waitress kept forgetting. Ultimately, youâre paying for the vibe and they just had recently opened so theyâre still working out some kinks. I probably would have had better food at Chiliâs but try it for yourself.
In response to the OWNER; thank you so much for the information on delta 9 THC . Unfortunately, I wasnât there for that experience and not discouraging anyone who wants to try it. So my lack of knowledge on THC is not the same as incompetency. For my experience was for the food and it wasnât great on that day. However, I hope that as time go on, things will improve so I hope you appreciate this honest review. Wishing...
Read moreI was looking forward to trying this location out, since I went to the one in Nashville a few months ago. I knew there was going to be wait because it was a Saturday night and it was almost 10, however I was okay with that.
Well my guest and I (both black men) walked in and was placed on the wait list for about 25 - 30 minutes; no problem for us. So we were standing in the waiting area near the front of the restaurant, and the host came over and asked us, somewhat discreetly, to wait in our vehicle. Remember there's only 2 of us, and there's a party of 4 that are also waiting beside us. We were taken aback by this request, but we obliged, didn't question it, and politely went to our vehicle. While walking back to our vehicle, we agreed this situation was absurd and decided to leave.
Before we drove off, we pulled up closer to the front of the restaurant to see if any other guest that walked in were asked to wait in their vehicle; they weren't. I believe the host realized we were watching outside, so he came out of the restaurant to tell us that a spot had opened up at the bar, even though we were suppose to receive a text if a table was available. We asked the host why we were asked to wait in our vehicle and he couldn't provide a clear answer, so we left.
I'm not sure why we were singled out and asked to wait in the car when the larger group, who walked in right before us, were not asked to wait in their vehicles. I can see if we were in the way of other guest or staff, but that was not the case. Although I do not believe it was a racial issue because the host was black and the majority of the customers were black as well, but you never know.
I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated by this mistreatment because we were looking forward to patronize here and support the hometown location, however we...
Read moreMy husband, friends and I have been here a few times now, and your service is kindof a toss-up depending on who's working, and I've never seen it packed. The way the menu works is not always explained to newcomers, I've noticed, and they've been open for a few months now and they still only have the soft open menu, which is disappointing. The Memphis menu isn't even on their website yet. There aren't any vegetarian options for entrees, and the food is pretty expensive for a standard American burger place that has barely had any traffic in all the times we've been there. Especially considering that NOTHING is infused on it's own except some drinks, and you have to pay an additional $7 for an ounce of infused sauce you add to your food yourself. We're happy this restaurant is here but I'm sad to say it's not super appealing to this group of gardeners, especially since the vibe is pretty uninviting with tacky Elvis pics, weed decorations, and no soft seating. It's giving restaurant chain in a bad way, and I feel like their expansion to Memphis wasn't really...
