Straight Drop Seafood Memphis — Restaurant in Memphis

Happy to support this business. The people are nice and the food is good here and there are not many in this community with this amount of quality but some work needs to be done regarding the amount of people they let stand around inside especially during this pandemic. The have a whole room that is not being used before entering the restaurant that could used to keep some customers out of that area that is so confined where the orders are picked up. There are also several "employees" that are going to the back everytime we enter who are not properly masked. If you are going to continue to let them do that please at least give them a back door entrance. They have good food but the portions are small for the price. They should study KrabKings portion sizes at the same price and quality. Also it kind of is counter intuitive to not be accepting call in orders and your website is broken. Uber orders don't include the full menu which is forcing people to go inside and wait in the middle of a pandemic where you are not properly protecting customers. Otherwise great job. Food seasoning and sauce is inconsistent.

1st picture is from my delivery order (first time eating). 2nd/3rd picture is from my pickup order (second time eating).

I first ordered from this restaurant as a Grub Hub delivery and the food was delicious even though my eggs were not added. It came with a nice butter sauce in an aluminum pan. This made me want to go back. So finally I made the trip myself. I placed my order for pickup through the Grub Hub app. Not thinking to look at my food. When I got home, the food did not look the same as the first time I ordered nor did it taste the same. The butter sauce that set it off the first time was absent. I had some watery juice in my containers this time and it was in a plastic container instead of the aluminum pan like the first time. Food was cold even though it wasn’t ready when I got there and there visibly isn’t any seasoning on the food. Idk what happened this time but since this is only my second time eating from this restaurant, I can’t say which time is the norm. I can’t say that I’ll be coming back when there are so many other seafood restaurants to compare...

It was a great experience but my food tastes 🤔🤔but we going to leave it at that. I tried to call-in order food and the company declined it. I understand the situation based on the location it more likely the customer might don’t come through.

Please next time make sure the corn sweet.

This company have a reputation and food should always be top quality besides atmosphere be on your 10 toes and stay alert.

Fix the drive way entrance, it bad on citizens front bumper but I’m going to say something important now.
