Food was fresh and tasty. Staff was rude in general. But further, they manipulate their drive-thru stats for their management by (A) ringing up the order late(i.e.not while you are at the speaker, but as your approaching the window), (B) asking you to pull up (just so the system timers think they completed the order quicker than reality). It is annoying, and in the mornings, they exhibit this behavior consistently, everyday, when a particular woman is running the drive-thru. It is inconvenient to the customer as they don't even engage you at the speaker until they have finished the person before you (or at least pulled them up past the window). You don't see your order on the screen to verify, or know the cost of it until you get to the window. As soon as you pay, they want you to pull forward, or into a parking space (regardless if anyone is behind you in drive-thru). When they bring it out, it makes it inconvenient to ask for some ketchup packets, because now you have to wait for them to walk back in, get them, and walk back out, instead of just handing them to you if you were still at the window. It really irritates me. If they didn't try to manipulate their timer numbers in the system, and just let it reflect honest data, things would be better. The customer would be able to verify their order is correct on the screen instead of finding out later something was misunderstood. The customer wouldn't have to pull up and park (remember, we're going through the drive-thru. People go through drive-thrus because they don't want to park, otherwise, they'd just go in and order). The employee wouldn't have to spend unnecessary time to bring the food out to the parking spot, and then possibly do multiple trips for simple condiments or forgotten forks, napkins (things so much easily and quickly addressed at the window vs. pulled up/parked). Perhaps instead of parking cars and having the employee run back in forth from behind the counter to the parking lot, the employee could use that saved time and just have the next order ready faster, and not pull up cars! And if employees/supervisors constantly manipulate the timed data, the management will use their inaccurate data to make decisions affecting the staffing and scheduling that will obviously lead to a less efficient system based off the manipulated data. This store is the worst Wendy's I've seen about...
Read moreService was fast but staff was very rude and the worst part about it is it was the manager that was being rude when she was taking my order. I can only imagine what the rest of the staff is like if this is the kind of person you have training your people. If she's confident enough to be this rude to customers there's no reason her staff under her wouldn't be the same way. This is not how customer service should be. You cannot have a customer service job where you have to talk to customers all day if you're going to be rude to them all day. I asked for her name and she told me it was tina. She was upset with me because while I was trying to order I was modifying the sandwich that I wanted and she did not like that and kept trying to talk over me and rush me through my order because she didn't want to listen to the way I wanted my sandwich. I told her she was being very rude and she told me to just drive around because she wasn't trying to deal with me because they had a line I literally took 2 minutes to place my order and it would have taken less than that had she just let me make my order instead of continually interrupting me and trying to get me to have it her way...
Read morethis was downtown. When we walked in, the manager, I presume, was mopping the floor as we were walking in.. which is a hazard. and the whole time she was on her cell phone, which is rude. she didn't acknowledge us until she wanted to and then took our order she acted as if we interrupted her cell phone time (how rude of us customers). she took our order rudely and in a matter-of-fact way I'm doing you a favor way...wow! this was horrible. well, on my order, I didn't want the sauce that came with it. so when we got our order, it had some American cheese on it which I hate, so I took it back and told her I did not want sauce and she rudely looking me in my eyes as I stared back. you said no sauce, and we didn't put no sauce it came with American cheese, and back on the cell phone she went. I will never eat here again. what is done about rude service? you hate to fight with people handling your food they may spit in it or mop it on the floor. So, here it is, so-called want-to-be manager. you were rude to senior citizens and presented yourself as an uncaring worker 🙄. we will not be back. of course, you wouldn't care maybe the public will when...
