Yum's — Restaurant in Memphis

It's a small place, but their food is excellent. Everything is prepared fresh. The salads are enormous. I got the chicken salad. Tons of fried chicken in the salad and what is basically enough salad for 2 people to enjoy as lunch/dinner or for 4 people to have a side salad. Their general tsos is super tasty and not just breading. It's huge pieces of chicken with really yummy sauce. An order of general tsos is enough for 2-3 people. It comes with broccoli and rice, and I always request extra broccoli. Their vegetable lo mein is also delicious. A quart is enough for 4 people. Their philly cheesesteaks are amazing, and they really load them up. I always get the footlongs so I can have one sandwich for lunch and one for dinner. The general tsos and lo mein keeps well enough to eat on the next day, but I have never had enough leftovers to last after that. You could easily meal prep with general tsos and lo mein for 2 days though. Lunch and dinner for day one, lunch and dinner for day two. 2 days of 4 meals. Not bad...

Delicious food! I had a chicken philly steak with fries and a drink and it was only $6.00 Very reasonable. I only had the 6 inch and it was plenty. The service was just fine as there were two helpful Chinese women working there. Sometime I'll have to go back and try their Chinese food. It could have been a little cleaner, but other than that, it was great.

Update: I have been going to this location for a while now and I still love the food. However, when I go on Saturdays, there is one Chinese girl running the cash register that is always trying to rush me to order. With the big variety of items they have, sometimes it takes me a while to decide what I want. No one else is even in line but she keeps constantly shouting at me "ARE YOU READY TO ORDER!?" after I have told her I am still looking. Then she throws down a takeout menu at me. It don’t matter if you try to save others from getting sick eating this disgusting food.The General Manager will come make a post denying it saying they checked and they don’t see the order.Quite frankly,The whole building has a smell that is not good.The general torso chicken gave me food poisoning.I have my order frozen.I have my receipt.And I have the order in my phone which I made online.Of course the GM will right a statement asking me a question that knows can’t be responded to.Worse Yums experience of my life and I would advise anyone to eat there.And yes it was your location I have the address in the phone with the orders being made on DoorDash.Plus the receipt.For the GM to try to Act if I was talking about another store is ridiculous.782 S Highland you guys can’t even get rid of the smell inside the building.Ppl just go and see...
