I have been to this place 3 times now. The first time I walked in and the bartender pretty much told my boyfriend and I to leave because he wasnt going to stay open much longer.. it was 10:20pm. There were at least 8 other people In the bar so I asked if we could still get a drink and he said we could maybe have one but otherwise we would have to leave. So not feeling very welcomed we left.
The second time we went was a few nights ago and there were more people so we felt it was okay to stay and have a few drinks but around 10:30 -11 people started leaving and we no longer felt welcome to stay because of WhT happened the night before
The third night, last night.. was the absolute worst. This place is suppose to be open till bar close 7 days a week.. last night we pulled into the parking lot at 10:15 and started walking to the doors. There were at least 10 -13 other cars in the parking lot when we got here. When we were about to open the doors to go in someone quick locked all the doors and turned around and went inside.. clearly seeing us walking to the door. I was shocked. They didn’t say they were closing and there were plenty of other people in the bar we could see through the doors. He purposely locked the doors so we couldn’t come in.... I have never been treated with such disrespect at a business before and I sure will never be coming back to this place. It’s sad too because we live right by stone toad and are frequently going out and trying new places. I really hope that a manager or owner reads this and either changes the hours of business or changes something so this doesn’t happen to other people.. although I’m sure it...
Read moreWas looking for a place to do small business meetings weekly, with large meetings quarterly and was very excited to find this place. The first meeting was incredible, price was right and room very nice. I was working with Jen, one Of the owners on future dates, and we secured June 16th via text message immediately and we were going to work on further dates. Myself and 5 others arrived early, so we could eat prior to meeting. When others started arriving, 2 of the ladies were rudely spoken to prior to entering the meeting room. Jen stated that we did not have to room rented out to us and was quite disrespectful. So, I approached her on this, and had pulled up the confirmation text, and her response to me was "I can read...." In a very rude and sarcastic tone of voice. Upon that, she rudely told me it was 50 bucks to rent, (which we very well knew as we paid it before). I declined and walked away. 5 of us did order food, so we did stay, however very reluctantly. Now, I have dealt with renting meeting rooms for a decade, and also Customer service.... AND that word of mouth advertising is what makes or breaks a business. A simple "I am sorry" would have cleared things up. I gave Jen, thru the weekend, to see if it was a bad day, as we all have them, however nothing. So.... Jen It really is a good thing you can read. I will never step foot in this establishment again, I will let everyone know the rude and downright mean experience we had with one of the co-owners, Jen. Not recommended. EVER!! Please, get some people skills. Being nice and admitting mistake is really not that hard. Could have all...
Read moreThis is a large sports bar/dining/mess hall. Our friends go on Sunday night for the chicken dinner and invited us along. I paid an extra dollar for "all white meat" and it looked no different than anyone else's. 2 breasts and 2 whatever they passed off as white meat..legs, thighs, I don't know. I had iced tea while the others had soda, and got free refills. When I asked about about a refill I was told "the owner doesn't allow free refills on the iced tea". The waitress said it was a 'home brew' or some such thing and didn't come with any refills. I replied I also brew tea at home and fail to see why the owner can't afford what is at most a 6 ounce refill once the ice is removed from the glass. I suggested i could write a negative review and if it keeps people away the owner can save even more money, and the waitress said to go ahead and maybe the owner would change his mind. So, if you want basic bar food in a sports bar setting, or dining hall, with an obligatory screaming kid seated behind you,and free soda refills, this may be your place.
For myself, I can find plenty of other places nicer than this and get all the tea I can drink at no extra charge. I'm always amazed and joints like this and their silly, specific rules. The waitress, by the way, was basically attentive-on a very quiet night- although she did suffer from memory loss and we had to remind her 3 times to bring basic things...
