Absolutely loved my experience at Haven Wine & Cheese in Menlo Park!

As someone who's visited countless wine bars over the years, this one stands out in the best possible way. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and stylish--whether you're inside enjoying the cozy interior or out on the charming outdoor patio, it's got that perfect laid-back but refined vibe.

What really sets Haven apart, though, is their thoughtful and adventurous selection of wine-friendly fare, especially their "tin fish" menu. If you're a seafood lover--or even just curious--this is a dream come true. The quality and variety of the tinned seafood offerings are unlike anything I've seen locally. Pairing them with a well-curated glass of wine feels like a mini European vacation.

Add to that the attentive and friendly service, and you've got a gem of a spot that's perfect for a casual evening or an elevated night out.

Haven Wine's was perfect for us this year. We read about the founders, persona and culinary food and wine options online. July 17th was our 6th anniversary. We met at Vino Locale in Palo Alto and had gone there on our first three anniversaries. The last two years we tried new local wine places.

What made it so special? If I could give Haven, Wine & Cheese 10 stars, I would. This place is an absolute gem and the perfect addition to our little neighborhood. It’s charming, warm, and thoughtfully designed (and the wine selection is so so awesome!) You walk in and instantly feel at home.

But what truly sets Haven apart are the owners. They are deeply rooted in our local community. Longtime locals who have always shown up for all of us, and now they’ve created a space that reflects everything they stand for: connection, quality, and heart. This isn’t just a wine bar. It’s a gathering place, a little refuge, and a reminder of how lucky we are to live in a neighborhood where places like this can exist. Welcome to the neighborhood Haven!!! We are soooooo happy...
