While the ambience is cute, and the food was tasty, the service left much to be desired. First, the hostess never checked us in left and never returned. a couple showed up in between and they were seated before we were. Mind you we were there 30 minutes before our reservation. Once we were seated, we requested a heat lamp and were told by our waitress that they would be able to bring one in 5 minutes. Much more time than that passed and thanks to one of the bus boys, after I asked him, now he brought us one over. I should mention that we began our evening at the bar and ordered a bottle of champagne which was brought to the table. At no time did anyone refill our glasses which I would expect at any restaurant especially at a Four Seasons. So realizing that wasn't going to happen, I took upon doing it myself. I had to ask for a towel that I could use to wipe the bottle to pour for ourselves. And, that was like an act of Congress and took forever. Somewhere in the middle of that, the hostess came over and brought us a welcome drink. She proceeded to tell us what was in it and then forgot the last ingredient and said she would check and come back. Needless to say, we never saw her again. Good thing none of us were allergic to anything we were drinking . We tasted it and carried on with our evening. As I said, the food was tasty, but not enough to warrant ever going back to this place or for me to ever recommend them. I've been too many at Four Seasons, the last and most recent was the one in the Serengeti, which was incredible. This was the antithesis of that experience. Then this morning I took a look at my bank statement to discover that they put a $200 hold on my card that was never mentioned. I should say when we paid the bill that also took forever. The actual charge for dinner has processed already so everything was paid for. I don't understand what kind of business they're running over there, but I don't appreciate the hold on my card and I sincerely hope that they have management train, their staff. It was simply an unacceptable experience for a Four Seasons restaurant. Oh, and I forgot to mention that it was also supposed to be a birthday celebration, which makes all of this even...
Read moreCompletely overpriced and not worth the money!
We went for dinner and the rack of lamb was four lamb chops (a half rack) that were incredibly fatty and under cooked. Medium rare came out very rare. But the amount of fat on the lamb chops and price ($59? if I remember correctly) was astounding. Our daughter spent a huge amount of time trying to find edible meat. We also ordered the fish entrée, which the waiter described as having quite a bit of taste, but it was absolutely boring, bland, and dried out. Waiter and the chef were accommodating about changing the accompanying vegetables but the waiter was slightly annoyed. However, the vegetables were cooked perfectly. But a $41 entrée should be special, and the fish was essentially tasteless.
Desserts were way too precious and complex. Waiter did us a favor when asked about the special donuts on the menu and steered us away to other donuts that came with chocolate sauce (that weren't on the menu). Those were good, not fabulous. Food was served very promptly. Wine list overpriced and wines by the glass are unimpressive.
Ambiance was a significant problem. Restaurant was freezing cold -- apparently didn't want to turn up the heat since it was a cold evening and there are a lot of windows. Lots of ambient noise -- nothing to deaden sound. Atmosphere is cold unless it is a nice night and you can sit outside on couches with fire heaters. Tables are cold except for the bar section that had some comfy low armchairs with tables. We were never offered that option.
Not worth the money, not even close! Did appreciate the very polite and free valet service, though, and they did let us change tables when we had an excessively loud group sit...
Read moreTraveling for work and had the pleasure of dining at Quattro. Let me start by saying the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Kevin greeted me as I entered the restaurant - and his warm, genuine approach left me feeling at ease, as I am not used to dining alone. (Thanks, Kevin! #vip) Several members of the team including Fernando, the Mgr, stopped by to check in with me, offer a recommendation, or ensure I was having a positive experience overall. The service was exceptional. Special shout outs to Greg (cheers to 15 yrs!), Matt, and Amrit for their attentiveness and engagement - it's clear they enjoy connecting with others and take great pride in their craft. Thank you, team, for making me feel so welcome. And the food...oh my goodness. The Ahi Tuna Crudo is a gorgeous, summer-inspired presentation; with a blend of crisp, bright flavors and a generous portion of savory, fresh tuna to satisfy your palate from a starter standpoint. The Mediterranean Branzino Frito was unlike any dish I have experienced - it was evident the attention to detail that went into plating this divine catch. I highly recommend the DuMol Chardonnay to complement these dishes. I will be visiting again, and bringing others with me, as this establishment and team are a true gem, and I look forward to dining with them...
