I’m officially done with Marco’s forever. I ordered 3 items, picked it up, got to my car and checked the first item, the 10 boneless chicken wings, and was so shocked I didn’t check the other items. I took it back inside and apologized and said it was my first time ordering them and I wanted to know if what I received was typical. They said yes. Still too stunned to speak more on it I just left and went home to try and make the best of it. Upon checking the next item, a “pizza” bowl, I realized it was made incorrectly. Also, the first time I had ordered the pizza bowl. I didn’t realize it was just a thin layer of cheese with some toppings. When I read “crustless pizza bowl” I assumed it was like a personal pizza without a crust (the part without toppings) not that it had literally zero bread at all. The toppings were also all incorrect. Miraculously the 3rd item was correct. I will not be returning. But Marcos, if you’re interested in some feedback, please take the “boneless wings” off your menu. That is an absolute embarrassment. And rename your “pizza” bowl something that makes sense, like “melted cheese with toppings just enough for a child to eat”. Keep the $30 if you’re that hard up. Read moreThis is the second time in a month that I got food poisoning from Marco's in Mentor on the lake. At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but now I know definitely it is food poisoning. I ordered the veggie sub, it arrived barely warm, it looked like it was thrown together, looked very unappetizing. I was throwing up all night. I WON'T BE GOING BACK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN. I also forgot to mention, that I could not get off the toilet. In which I am still sick much farther into the day. As mentioned before, this is the second time that this happened to me from this location. I DON'T RECOMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT...BAD PLACE. Something is definitely wrong with this place. I eat out in plenty of other places, and never have a problem. Could be poor food handling, improper heating and cooling of food, but this is very scary. Food poisoning is not a joke. Read moreWe ordered for my kids’ school fundraiser tonight. I received the wrong order which in itself isn’t a huge deal. I called and the woman who answered the phone asked for a description of the driver and said she would contact the driver. About 8-9 minutes passed and I never got an update (was the driver coming right back with the correct order or did they have to remake it?). So I called. The young guy who answered sounded stoned. He was like “Ehh uhhh ummmmm yeah it’s going to take longer than 8 or 9 minutes.” Well, my prior phone call ended without any explanation to the problem’s solution which seems like customer service 101. Common sense is gone. Say goodbye to it. I’m going to stick to locally owned small businesses because I’m feeding a family. We work hard all week and I’ll make sure my money is better spent.
