Subway — Restaurant in Mentor-on-the-Lake

Very disappointed in the service at this location. This is my second visit and second disappointment. The last time we tried to call in an order and the person told. me they were too busy so order online which is a total joke by being the worst ever online system. Today we tried for an hour to place an order online, same problem, errors encountered and finally called the order in and we had a discount code but they wouldn't honor it because it was for online orders. So this is our lunch that we started eating at 1:50 pm. Now I'll tell you about the order that was placed on the phone.

12" Italian BMT and a 12" subway club. One was supposed to be toasted which was not. Had some of the wrong veggies.

Pulled into the lane for online pickup and waited 7 minutes for someone to come to the window.

We called to complain and they said we're sorry and hung up.

The stars are only for the corporate BS. I walked in to the massive store, which has no reason to be. The one employee was very nice and accommodating, BUT what I asked for made him have a "deer in the headlights" look. I have seen numerous billboards about the new cheesy garlic bread. Well... the ads do not quite fit the truth. I asked boyo what the ads meant and he told me it was NOT a specific bread but any bread you want with cheese and garlic. Absolutely not what they say. The billboards allude to a particular bread that is garlicy and cheesy. Nit the case They spread something they cal garlic butter on you choice of bread, then add cheese. Not bad but certainly not worth going out of your way. I would much rather go to almost anywhere than there. Do not forget, the kid working was great, the corporate...

I ordered 4 subs for myself and my coworkers and I was told it will be ready in 20 min.. drive to the store (15 min drive ) and when I arrived I was informed by a employee in the parking that they are out of bread..I told them I placed order online 20 min ago, he then reply those must be your sandwiches they are making right now.. when I walked up to counter they were confused and didn’t even know about my order and then found receipt in back room. After whispering for few min the said oh we are out of bread and we forgot to call you. Then asked would you want me to cancel your order?? To make it worse this was at 9pm so every other subway around was closed.. definitely never coming back to this place wasted my time and super...
