Atmosphere and Service Upon entering, I was greeted by a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant was clean, and the staff seemed genuinely friendly. The morning sun streamed through the windows, creating a warm ambiance. Whether you choose to dine in, hit the drive-thru, or opt for delivery, Wendy’s remains committed to serving its customers with care and efficiency.
The Breakfast Delight This visit marked my first time trying Wendy’s breakfast menu, and I must say, I was impressed. The options were diverse, and the prices were reasonable. I ordered the classic Bacon, Egg & Cheese Croissant, and it exceeded my expectations. The croissant was flaky, the bacon crispy, and the egg perfectly cooked. It was a delightful departure from my usual fast-food breakfast haunt (looking at you, McDonald’s). Wendy’s nailed it with their morning offerings.
A Few Hiccups Now, no review is complete without a touch of constructive feedback. The fries were a tad oily and saltier than I prefer. And the chili—usually a Wendy’s highlight—wasn’t up to par. Read moreThis past Sunday was a very chaotic day for us. After missing dinner, we opted for a late bite to eat from this Wendy’s, on Andrews Rd in Mentor on the Lake. I get that the staff was probably wanting to go home as it was about 20 minutes to closing time. We were not picky at all with our order, and opted to get whatever they had available. Some of the staff was polite and nice, especially the lady who took our order and the guy who handed us our food. What didn’t set we'll with us is the heavy set lady, who walked out of the restaurant and proceeded to flip us off as we drove by her. I am assuming it was because of our order being so close to closing time. I don’t know this lady’s name or what position she fills at Wendy’s, but I do know her behavior, and the way she acted towards us, is enough to make me not want to go back. We all have hard days, yesterday was one for us as well, but your staff needs to learn how to not take it out on the customers. After all the customers are the reason you have a job. A well trained staff knows how to manage their emotions, frustrations, energy, etc. Good customer service is what keeps businesses operating. The way she talks to the staff and the customers is despicable!! How she remains a manager there, or anywhere else for that matter, is beyond comprehension!! Shelby, without knowing who I was, called me a "crazy lady" in front of me, the staff, and all the other consumers in the restaurant because I asked for a specific manager to turn in new hire paperwork for my daughter, and I was polite as can be. Being a manger myself, I would have fired her on the spot!! Also, my daughter had to be exposed to Shelby talking negatively about me to another coworker while she was eating in the dining room while they were behind the counter before her shift. Disgusting and unacceptable!! Shame on you, Shelby, for being the worst example of a manger to the rest of the staff!!
