I'll stick with local coffee shops. I needed a quick drive though coffee option today and since I don't like Starbucks I figured I'd try The Human Bean. I remembered it being good when I was in Colorado. I ordered a medium blended mocha with added hazelnut syrup. I was the only one in drive thru and no one walking up to the window when I pulled in. Took a while to get my drink but not a big deal if the drink was good. It wasn't. The picture is of my blended drink about 30 seconds after I got it and you can see how watered down it is. It's was so watery and there was hardly any flavor at all. I didn't even taste the espresso in it. The cup was extremely messy and sticky when it was handed to me as well. For nearly $8 for this tiny watered down drink I'm more than a bit disappointed. Lesson learned.

I went here for the first time and I had high hopes for a new place to go to. The girl taking our order at the window was very nice but, unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the quality of the drinks and food. I ordered 2 of the sausage, egg and cheese on a “NY” bagel and they looked nothing like the menu picture. They stuck to the paper bag and ripped and were the size of Thomas Mini Bagels (shown next to in pic). The coffee was mediocre and tasted like it had none of the syrups I asked for and mostly tasted like milk. In my opinion, for the amount I paid, I expected a little better quality of food preparation and drink.

I had never heard of the Human Bean before randomly stopping at this location to grab a cold brew for my trip home. What a delight. That delicious little chocolate covered espresso bean on the top of my cup surprised me and made my day. Coffee was delicious as well (Snowy Mocha). Only disappointment is that I did not make time to drive back around the drive-thru again to pick up a full bag!

Went to Human Bean to give it a shot… the product and latte were tasty. However it really boiled down to customer service. They had about 8 people in there, we walked to the window and they were sitting on the floor. We had to say hi to get their attention and they didn’t say hi back. They looked like they’d rather be anywhere else.

Tried ordering a hot coffee, which was brewed at 11am. I got there around 4pm and they had not rebrewed since…. Went with an iced latte instead.

Really tasty latte. But the employees had zero social skills. Handed my card over, said thank you. Zero reply. Got my drink, said thank you again and all she said was “yeah.”

When you have Starbucks down the street or shops like Fiona’s and Arabica, it makes it hard to support local. I really want to support local but not when it’s like this.

Not a good first impression. Hope they pull...

I write this review with great disappointment. The owner/manager was wonderful every time we have interacted & when we initially started coming here, everything was delicious, service was incredible, just overall good experience. It’s slowly gone downhill. Last time, I was served room temperature coffee. It was remade, which I appreciated. Came back and this time, the girls working the drive thru were too busy cackling and gossiping- had to repeat the order twice. Order was STILL wrong. The girls were also touching their faces, which is a huge health safety issue. Had to get the coffee remade and the girl claimed she “didn’t know I ordered a latte” perhaps she should be more focused on listening to the customer at the drive thru instead of gossiping with friends. I don’t know if I will be...
