Bangkok Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Merced

We have always had pretty fair service here, but today was not the case. We came in and the tables were dirty, we waited for it to be cleaned. One of the experienced waiter told us she could clean the table or we could sit somewhere else, we decided to sit elsewhere. It took at least 5-8 min for another server to come to our table. She came and asked us what we wanted, took our order. My husband had to go and ask if he could wipe our table down because it was still dirty, the server came and wiped it down and stated the tables dont get cleaned all day so the food gets stuck. My husband asked her I will clean it please give me the towel and she said she would do it however she did with an attitude. She then left. I told my husband let's go. We cancelled the order and left. This restaurant has had decent service, but today was horrible. Our server seemed as though she didnt want to be there and had a rude attitude towards everything. My suggestion to you reading this, you dont have to put up with rudeness. This is a business of serving people, families come here to eat and if you have servers like this young girl, people will go somewhere else...

The place had a good amount of people service was the excellent however, first the coconut water was like if they got it for the toilet disgusting I mediately told her I'm not paying for that take it back. Then I my food which consisted of a curry with seafood was tasty to only have my stomach. I am still throwing it up and diarrhea this place is terrible save yourself a world of hurt and never visit this place. I ordered online through ChowNow only to find out that Bangkok Restaurant has been having problems with their services for a month or so. I received a confirmation email that my card was charged and processed after placing my order. I arrived at Bangkok Restaurant and asked a server about my order. She explained that they have not been working with ChowNow and stopped taking orders from them. She then mentioned that I should get a refund from ChowNow. However, from Chownow's refund policy, I won't be able to get my money back. I feel like my time was wasted and I won't be getting my money back.

I am disappointed as the food from Bangkok is good and I enjoy eating there. After this experience, I highly recommend they should let it be known that they have stopped working with ChowNow as it can cause more problems for their customers in the future. I think they could at least update their details info on Google or place a warning in their restaurant to let...
