Pizza Guys — Restaurant in Merced

Was in a hotel in the area and found this place by browsing on Google Maps. Never had it (or even heard of it) so I clicked on their link. They offer online ordering which is always a gamble but I decided to try it anyway. The order was 10 boneless, 6 regular wings, crispy chicken salad w/ranch, and a 2-liter of Diet Pepsi. Clicked "finish" and it showed an estimated delivery time of 45 minutes. Right around 35 minutes, the dude's at my door. I paid cash and shut the door. I quickly realized he forgot the soda so I caught him before he got on the elevator. He seemed to slightly panic and said it wasn't on the computer but he looked at the receipt in his pocket and it was on there, so he left to go after it...I was starving but had nothing to drink so I stuck the salad in the fridge and waited the 15 or so minutes until he returned before I started eating. Further disappointment ensued...I opened the salad first and realized immediately that this was a garden salad - full of all the nasty healthy stuff I don't like - not the chicken salad I ordered. I was too hungry to call them so I picked all the olives and onions and peppers out and poured the packet of ranch on. I took a bite and was annoyed that the ranch was warm, even after it had just sat in my fridge for 15 minutes. Ugh. I open the 2 liter and yep, you guessed it...warm. Lovely. I ate about half the salad and threw the rest in the garbage. I opened the boneless wings and had to giggle at this point. It was a 10 piece although 2 of them were about the size of a quarter. Haha! This has gotten comical at this point. Then finally I opened the 6 piece and they were fine. Of course not very warm by now but that's understandable. Ok, so we've proven that maybe they're able to deliver with such quickness because they pay absolutely no attention to the order before delivering it. Or perhaps because they're a pizza shop, they only know how to get that right? Who knows. As far as the actual taste of everything? The salad was your basic salad and I'm sure would've been fine if the dressing wasn't so warm and there was chicken on it. The wings all tasted good but were nothing unique. To top it all off, I added "Please bring itemized receipt" in the comment section. Didn't get it. Thankfully I was able to access it online so work will still cover it. Overall I'm obviously gonna tell you to avoid this place but maybe you'll have better luck than me. I won't ever choose them again but to...

Pizza was ok. Ordered online for a specific time expecting to be done with an appointment by that time. Unfortunately the appointment ran late. Had my mother's number as the contact on order. A guy called several times to remind her of the order (understandable), but the attitude during those calls was very rude and completely unnecessary. On top of that when i got there to pick up the order, girl at front desk was again rude with attitude. I told her i was pickin up. She asked the name, so i told her. She stops to look at me and says your order has been ready for almost 2 hours. Was actually only a little over an hour. I explained i just got out of a doctors appointment. She then said, oh thats why. I paid for the order. She told a soda was with my order and to pick it out on my way out. I dont plan on visiting that...

Ordered online. People were friendly, as was the delivery man. However, online app really screwed up my order. BOGO offer wouldn't work, had to cancel first one, then when 2nd time didn't go through again, they had to refund my money via cash. Have always been a Dominos gal, but wanted to give this place a chance because their menu is better. However, pizzas arrived barely warm and the crust is beyond bland and too floppy! Pizzas should always have that bit of crisp to them, even a thick crust, but these were just too soft. Toppings were also too under cooked. They weren't raw, just to cold. If I thought ordering them well done would help, I'd give them another chance, but the crust is so flavorless, I think I need to go back to Domino's.
