Starbucks — Restaurant in Merced

Last night I went to this starbucks location like I occasionally do, with a group of 4 friends which only one of them ordered a Trenta Strawberry Acai and it happend to be that we were playing spanish music and a friend of mine in the back seat sang a little piece of the lyric in spanish and I looked at her and laughed and so did she. The drive thru window was open and soo were the car windows as well, so the cashier heard the music and my friend’s singing and then when we did the transaction he said “hi welcome to America” like really how racist is that? Like I am American just like all my friends, we were born in United States of America. So for him to say that was so ignorant!! Like beyond ignorant!! How rude and disrespectfull! Just cus we had spanish music on and he saw our hispanic looking faces. And we are hispanic because our parents are but me and my friends are just as “American” as he is! I never thought I would give Starbucks one star :( not sure for what reason they close their doors at 8pm and not 9pm (like it states in the app). A couple of minutes ago, I placed an order (Jade Citrus Mint tea with lemonade and 2 tea bags). I get out of my car and the doors are locked. I drive through the drive-thru and I need to wait for the cars in front of me (if I placed an online order, it is for me to not wait in line). The employee at the window reaches out her hand and hands me my tea. She does not greet me nor makes eye contact with me. Sorry you have a closing shift, sweet girl, but working is part of life and if you aren't ready to treat your customers right, go find yourself another job. I shouldn't even call my drink tea! All I got was water with no lemonade, and to end my trip to Starbucks I also received a bad experience. Something that never happens in the mornings. Not sure if I want to order a drink again...

This evening, I pulled into the drive thru at 5:20. There were three cars in front of me. I finally left with my drinks at 5:42. I would have backed out, but there were two cars behind me. I sat and watched the truck in front of us wait for 6 minutes at the window while their drinks were slowly provided, one at a time, over the course of that 6 minutes.

When I pulled up to the window, I was handed one drink. Had to wait another 3 minutes for the next drink. Then my third drink came 2 minutes after that. One of the drinks was wrong, but after that absolutely ridiculous wait, I wasn't about ready to wait another 10 minutes for this soup sandwich of a store to make another one.

Every time I stop at this Starbucks, their drive thru is painfully slow, so I know it is not just an off evening. This is, by far, the worst Starbucks drive thru I have ever...
