Subway — Restaurant in Mercedes

In the past week I tried to go here 3 times. First time I was turned away because they were only accepting cash. Second time I was not dressed to get off and the drive thur was closed. The 3rd time I finally got to order. The guy working there seems to be the only employee I ever see. Every time I go I see him alone there. The drive-thru speaker never works so I have to drive up to the window. He never greets us with a smile and when the ask questions he seemed bothered to have to answer them. He's also speaks very low so it is hard to understand him. They never have all the bread varieties so I am forced to take whatever they have. I understand his frustration if he is the only one working there. They should have more employees on duty oneperson shouldn't be left to run the show. Food was good but customer service is...

This is the worst subway I have ever been to in all the years it’s been in business. I’m 42 so I’ve been to many. The drive thru intercom hasn’t worked in years. You have to drive up to the window to order. It usually takes about 2-5 minutes for any worker to come to the window to take the order and about 10-13 minutes for them to get the order to you, for just three foot longs. This was my last experience at this Mercedes Tx.location and I will not be back anymore. It seems like they’re short staffed every time I would go into the lobby to order or dine in. It was quite at about 9pm. A car at the drive thru and then me . The server, we quiet, calm, did exactly as I asked. I even ordered extra pepperoni on the side so my daughter wouldn't take the ones out of my sandwich. He then charged me up and by then there were 2 more customers. I did inquire as to the time lunch sandwiches were made as I had driven by earlier in the morning but I didn't want breakfast. He informed me that they can do lunch dinner sandwiches ANY TIME.
