I was going to fill out a survey of my recent visit to the Dairy Queen in Meridian, MS, but the phone number to call for the satisfaction survey on my receipt was listed XXX-XXX-XXXX and the website address for the survey was invalid as well. I’m a big fan of DQ but this was the worst DQ experience of my life. To start with, I needed to change my daughter’s diaper. I could barely get her stroller in the bathroom and there was no place to change her. Thankfully I was able to change her in the stroller. Normally she is in her wheelchair, had that been the case I would have had to change her on the floor. I noticed several things while waiting to place my order. 1. The drink machine was out of order 2. There was a padlock on the ice cream freezer 3. The entire restaurant was in disarray. After I received my order, I had to go back to the cashier 3 times about missing items. The chocolate cake shake that was ordered had a mystery blob of something that resembled banana pudding. The food was edible at least. Please take the time to look into improving this location as it reflects very poorly on...
Read moreBesides having to wait about 8 minutes at the window for food we noticed some rather disturbing issues. We are experiencing Covid and all restaurants should be adhering to strict health standards to avoid any spread. The lady who took the order was at the window. She took my card as payment and returned it by hand no glove. Then she proceeded to spend the next few minutes preparing our ice cream and drinks bare handed including reaching into the ice bin. She also handled plastic spoons from the box without gloves to put them in a basket to be handed to guests. The worst part was that she proceeded to take the order of the guest behind us and make their drinks and again reached into the ice bin bare handed. This was Saturday Jan 16 at around 8pm. I really hope management goes over proper sanitation and health standards for the operation before an potential sickness occur. Be careful eating here during the pandemic please. I will say the food was still good and hot so thank you for that but please wear gloves...
Read moreWhenever we see a Dairy Queen, we love to stop and get a chocolate dip cone. We have been to this Dairy Queen on several occasions year after year hoping for improvement. Our favorite is the chocolate dip cone. There has not been one time that we have been served a decent dip cone. Every time they hand the cone out the window with chocolate running down the cone with the no napkin around it. Then they give us napkins with chocolate on them. I have continued to go whenever in Meridian, hoping that management would one day teach the employees how to do a dip cone correctly, but that has never happened with us, and yet to see it. We visit Dairy Queen's all over the states when we travel, but this one is the worst on "Dip Cones." Most Dairy Queen's have a smooth ice cream. This Dairy Queen in Meridian ice cream is like ice milk. Also the ladies bathroom need attention...
