Today is my birthday and my brother drove me to dutchbros so I could get my free drink. As my brother got closer to the window he realized he knew the cashier, Evan. I am 14 so when asked for an ID of course I donāt have one. So I told the worker at the cashier,Evan, that I was 14 so I donāt have an ID, he said that was fine. He then proceeded to say he was guessing my older brother was my father. He knows my brother and knew I was 14, he was obviously making fun of the fact that my brother does look a bit older than he is. However, he is only four years older than me he doesnāt look like he could be my father. I thought this was extremely disrespectful and rude of Evan to say. Continuing with the story we told Evan he was in fact my brother. He said unless I came with a parent I could not have my free birthday drink. So, we didnāt say anything else and we paid for the drink and left. I understand that he might have been following protocol but he was unnecessarily extremely rude and ruined my love for this specific Dutch bros. I usually only go to this one because they make good drinks. However I will not be going back as of now because of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went through the drive-thru on Friday November 1st. I ordered my normal large protein latte, add sugar free chocolate, no salted caramel. I was watching Brooke make my drink, and watched her add salted caramel. I asked the guy at the window if that was my drink Brooke was making, and he confirmed it was. I explained I watched Brooke add salted caramel, and I do not care for it and ordered it without. He then told Brooke there's no salted caramel in the drink, but Brooke continued to make the drink. I was handed the drink and told to taste it which annoyed me because of the taste, sugar, and I felt as though it didn't matter. Brooke then tells me she knows my drink order, she didn't put salted caramel in my drink, and walks off. I tasted the drink and again said there's salted caramel in the drink. Brooke had already walked away, so the guy at the window remade my drink. I used to come to this Dutch Bros three times a week. I have not been back sense. The audacity was mind boggling. I was flat out lied too and called a lair. Her customer service is atrocious, and I don't want to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been a faithful Dutch Bros regular for the past 3 years and have always gone to the same few stands in Meridian. This week though I was thoroughly disappointed at the staff and their customer service. Staff didnāt know drinks, werenāt listening to my orders and got them wrong. And when fixing them did the minimum to get by. They also were not dressed to health code standard (wearing only socks). I have seen a steady decline in speed, service, quality, and consistency the past several months. This frustrates me, because when I go to Boise and Nampa Dutch, I never have any issues in these areas. It is not until I visit a Meridian stand that I encounter such dissatisfaction. Meridian Dutch, you have become way to lax on what Dutch, as a company, stands for. Please put some serious effort in fixing these issues in your service. Keep in mind you are in the people business first and the coffee...
