I have lived in the area for nearly 40 years and often heard that this restaurant was a quality Italian restaurant with good food. Well I was sorely disappointed this evening for my first and likely last visit. The bread and oil was very good. But I then ordered the chicken piccata for my entree. Oh my it was so over cooked it was almost like I was the third person to return it in the evening. The pasta ( I ordered linguine but it looked more like spaghetti) was thick and sticky. I have eaten at lots of Italian restaurants in the area over the years, but I’ve had better pasta from pizza places than what I received tonight. But you know sometimes a restaurant doesn’t get it right in the night but the reason I won’t be back is more about the response I got when I complained about the dish. I was treated as if somehow I was looking for something I didn’t deserve; that I was cheating in some way. It has been many years since I returned a dish so maybe the customer is no longer right in this situation. My recompense for a disgusting $26 entree that I ate maybe 1/4 of before I couldn’t eat any more of it, was a $20 gift card for that same restaurant. Ooh biggie. I hope all those celebrating Valentine’s Day tomorrow get treated better. Whatever happened to wanting the customer to come back? Perhaps they’re worried I won’t like other overcooked dishes (true). I believe I shouldn’t have had to pay for the dish but the manager? Owner? Felt that because I’d eaten some of it I should just get a $20 gift card. So I had to pay for the horrible food and come back to get more? No Thankyou. The place is too risky to spend $50 on a supposed nice meal only to have to leave with a bitter taste in my mouth. Never again. BTW our server was very good so he didn’t lose out on the tip. I just wish he worked for...

Now this is the one that's out in Merrimack is supposed to the one in Milford. And there's a very simple reason why we prefer the one in Merrimack, the chef is better. The food consistently in Merrimack is definitely been better than the one in Milford. I'm not saying the one in Milford is bad it certainly is not but the one in Merrimack simply is better. So we started off of the number of the apps. The calamari was excellent. Now we have a food service business so one of the things we got is we did want to try the short rib Arancini. I hate to tell you guys the one that we make is far better than the one that you guys had. For our mains my brother and I both had the seafood casserole which is very good mine was a little bit watery. I think it's probably due to the let's be honest we all do this in the industry the haddock was frozen and as it thaws it ends up releasing a lot of moisture into the casserole. What flavor was very good it was nice and creamy. My sister-in-law had the stuffed haddock which is very good she enjoyed that. For dessert we did the hazelnut square which I hate saying was kind of bland. my other half is a pastry chef so you can imagine how spoiled I am. The limoncello cake was okay but a little bit dry I think actually more limoncello rather than extract should be added to it make it a little bit more moist. Overall still a very good meal with definitely go back which we most definitely will sometime within the next...

So disappointing

Decided to give this place a try tonight and wow was I let down. Place was packed and extremely loud, sat down at the bat and had to wait for it to get cleared. Ordered the cranberry margherita and pita and hummus to start. I got the margarita and it was completely inedible, I mean it was DISGUSTING tasted like salt water that's the only thing I could think of, out side of the glass was covered in salt. After that the bartender ignored me for another 25 minutes till my pita and hummus came out. He took the drink back, I was too scared to order anything else so I stuck with water. Hummus and pita was good. Bartender didn't come back for almost another 25 minutes, against my better judgement I ordered a entire. Got the Italian feast after seeing it on the website and wow! Biggest let down ever. Came out in like 10 minutes which was weird compared to the appetizer. The chicken parm was the only part of the meal that was hot. The meatballs were 1/3 of the size compared to the photo and I only got one sausage, the outside of the plate was covered in sauce and felt dirty. I would of sent it back if I hadn't already done that with the drink.

Bottom line seems like not enough employees to maintain a basic level of quality service.

Why did a basic app take 25 minutes while the complex dinner comes out in 10 but was...

Mixed Feelings, but Worth Another Try We decided to visit this restaurant after seeing countless rave reviews on Facebook about their espresso martini—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, it was one of the best espresso martinis we’ve had and worth stopping in for that alone. We were just as excited to try the food, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The Cheese Lasagna were overcooked, though the staff was very gracious in replacing the lasagna. However, the delay meant we couldn’t eat together, which put a damper on the meal. On the other hand, the Tuscano Chicken (if that’s what it was called) was hearty, flavorful, and better than the pasta dishes, though I’d call it good rather than outstanding. Despite the hiccups, we’re inclined to believe it may have been an off night. The exceptional espresso martini and the friendly service are reasons enough to give this place another shot next time we’re in the area. We’re hopeful it will live up to its full potential!

Wife and I, Stopped here for lunch after family cemetery business and checked it out for future get together with our family... wonderful stop. Great dining area, bar , good reception at front counter . Best of all we had great seating and Dallas was our wait staff. Very nice guy and took care of us with xcelant service. Ordered drinks and did not feel rushed to order on any menu item. Took our time and Dallas checked on us frequently.. had great menu ... ordered our lunch and it arrived steaming hot for me and great salad special for my wife.. another round of drinks and we were comfy/ cozy enjoying a great lunch. Next a few recommendation from Dallas for dessert and it was great... coffee hot, and enjoyed every bit of it. Dallas made our day! Decided then and there to make reservation for our family function for the near future. Thank you Mary for your help with that. We are coming back.
