Papa Gino's — Restaurant in Merrimack

Papa Gino's Merrimack NH has always had tasty subs, dinners, and recently better tasting pizza. I usually will order a sub sandwich and pizza for the kids. The pizza used to be worth going there for. I am being kind when I say the pizza is worth the trip or the cost now. Quite expensive for the large cheese pizza with no toppings and, it's not very big. The steak n cheese sub I received tasted good but the amount of steak on the sandwich was very little. I had a cheese and bread sub with a little steak. Given the cost of the sandwich, the small amount of steak on the sandwich is just not acceptable. I don't know if I'll order from here again as this incident wasn't the first time. I should have taken a picture of it. This would have really shown the validity of the complaint. If I do order from here again, I will take the picture. If this is how Papa Gino's is going to make steak subs and pizza moving forward, I'll go back to Billy's for my sub which is in town, and get my pizza from Domino's. I can get 2 domino's pizzas for the same price as 1 of yours. The restaurant could use some updating and it was mostly younger people working there with no one in the seating areas. I called ahead to order and was given a time to show up. I showed up early thank god as my order had been ready and sitting.

Update: Papa Gino's has decided to remedy the situation which I am really happy about. We will try another meal at this location and see how it goes. Update to follow.

Update: Had a pretty decent meal at this location. The steak sandwich actually had some steak in it. The pizza was pretty good just a little on the expensive side when compared to other local pizza shops. Thank you Papa Gino's! Good job....

They need to decide what their priorities are. After calling this location for deliveries for at least once a month for years, they suddenly decided I was not in their delivery area. While I’ve always found it odd that I had to get pizza from Merrimack, as Hudson is closer, I kinda just put up with long wait times and semi cold pizza bc my wife loves it so much. I called Hudson and they told me emphatically that I was to call Merrimack. When I called back I got a manager who said, “ I don’t know who took your order, but they never should’ve delivered there ...”. I was like huh? Probably everybody took my order at some point over the last five years ... Anyhow, I tried Nashua on spitbrook and they said that I wasn’t in their area either ( they are the third closest after Hudson and Merrimack) but after I explained to him my dilemma, he said don’t worry, we will deliver to you from now on. He even apologized for the other locations and really seemed to value a loyal customer. I am never giving my patronage to Merrimack Papa Gino’s when there are pg’s run by people who care about their customers, like Nashua (we’ll give Hudson a pass, although they could have and should have stepped up like Nashua, since they are much closer, but my tip is going to a Nashua driver instead, so that...

We ordered a large order ($100) at the Merrimack location tonight and picked it up. When we got home we realized that we were missing 2 items so we called right away. The young gentleman who answered the phone stated that they were just going to call me because they realized that they had the remaining order and offered to deliver it, which was the right thing to do. He stated that the driver was due back in 5 minutes and then he would send them out and we would have it in about 20 mins. I said thank you and hung up. After an hour went by my husband called to find out where our food was. They stated that they were very busy and couldn’t give us a time that the food would be delivered. So we said we would wait for it. About 15 minutes later the same woman calls us back and says that they are NOT going to deliver our food that wasn’t what the young gentleman agreed too and they wanted to just give us our money back, but we already gave them a chance to do this at a previous visit a few months ago and we didn’t get the correct amount back and we lost money and it wasn’t honored, so this time we told them what happened before and we gave them another chance and they were doing the same exact thing, so we told them to keep there money and that we will...
