Arby's — Restaurant in Mesa

The person in the drive thru on October 19th at 230pm, was rude, and very short toned. Along with that, I have Celiacs disease. I went with my mother who wanted Arby's, I asked if the curly fries had anything on them, with gluten. He said no, in a clipped and rude tone, that didn't bother me. However, the curly fries DO have a breading on it, which contains gluten, and has flared my celiacs, and has caused me immense pain. Secondly. Nobody in the drive thru, he took my card, then said pull forward after giving it back before I could ask for a water cup and aggressively handed my food through a corner where I could barely reach and still yet no car coming through the drive through.. Any questions we were cut off, and he wouldn't give us a full answer or even let us speak. Overall experience is really disappointing and the food was lukewarm at best....

I had to give a rave review about this Arby's location. My mom and I have lived in the Altamesa area for about 6 years now, and in that time of course we've dined at various fast food and restaurants in this general area. We have had a bad experience everywhere a time or two, for the exception of this Arby's location. Every time that we've gone the staff is always amazingly friendly, the food is always fresh and delicious and they have never gotten an order wrong. I used to visit this Arby's weekly and even rated it the best in the area two years ago. Something has changed. I last went in November, and the food tasted off, which made me hesitate to go back. I tried again today, but the food was disappointing—cold meat, cold bun, like it was pre-made and refrigerated. Also, the service has declined. I order through the app, but unlike before when staff greeted me, asked if I needed anything, or said have a nice day, now I don’t even get anything. The place feels unwelcoming.
