This place very recently opened up. The previous occupant didn't last long... about 6 months. I'm pretty sure it was because they wanted to charge high-end prices in a middle income neighborhood. I never ate there once, having read the menu. I was pleasantly surprised to find Pita JUngle's prices more in line with my budget.

It was noon and business was brisk. I had my drink within two minutes and my appetizer within 5... very cool for someone on a tight schedule. Those are almost drive-through times... Normally I wouldn't have ordered so much food, but it all looked so tasty I couldn't help but get more than I needed. The red pepper hummus caught my eye right away and I was going to order a falafel as well, but then I saw they had gyros. Being somewhat of a sandwich guy, gyros are a favorite, so I changed my mind and chose that instead. I asked about a small side salad, and was told they had a Greek salad with tomato, olives, spinach. Alrighty then... close enough and a nice change from the usual "bleu cheese slathered iceberg" I usually end up with. I had forgotten that they serve healthy food... Shortly thereafter, out came the hummus, not too sour and not too spicy, along with a large, thick, warm pita. I really liked the mouthfeel of the warm pita and cold paste. Yummy. Before I could finish those, my salad and gyro arrived. I was eager to get to the meat of things, so I left the hummus behind and dug into the gyro. I was expecting a much sweeter experience, to be honest. The meat was tender but a bit weak as far as flavor. It was overpowered by the pickle and sour cream. With plenty of meat, it actually got better tasting as I made my way through it, but never got to same level of deliciousness as others I have had. I finished off the hummus after that and set the plates aside. They were quickly whisked off my table by staff... a custom I do like very much. The salad was minimally vinaigretted, but the strong olives and chopped onions flavored it just fine.

I read the happy hour menu while I munched, and am definitely going back one day just for that. The prices on drinks (4$ margaritas made with Quervo Gold) seemed like a deal. While sitting there I noticed that the reception desk is simply a disguised piano... interesting...

I can't give a restaurant a bad review just because of a single sandwich, so they still get high marks for service, speed and friendliness. Next time I will try that...

We ordered a Mediterranean Roasted Chicken Schwarma pita and a Gyro on 11/2 from this location on Uber Eats. Get the order, open it up starving to find 2 Gyro's. I don't eat lamb so I wasn't happy. I called the store and spoke to the manager Stephanie. I let her know that I don't eat lamb so I'd like a refund. She said "we can't do refunds because it's too difficult so I can either make you the correct pita and you can come pick it up or I can send you a gift card." I let her know that the reason I ordered through Uber Eats was because I wasn't able to drive there to pick it up. She said "well I don't have the staff capacity to have it delivered to you." So, with no other choice I said "I guess I'll have to settle for a gift card then." She asked for my address and said she'd put it in the mail. I received the gift card by some miracle because she wrote the wrong street name on the envelope. The card she put the gift card in was completely blank. No apology whatsoever...which is just terrible customer service. I then go to check the gift card balance and what do ya know? There is absolutely zero on it. It didn't even register. After several times checking, nothing came up. So she basically just took one of their gift cards and put it in the mail but didn't put any money on it. I have never had such a bad customer service experience in my life, especially from a manager. I'm beyond upset that I got the wrong food and absolutely nothing was done to rectify their error. It's like I just threw $11.00 in...

This pita jungle location is so bad...every time we order or eat in person it's like a totally different restaurant from all the other locations. Tonight, we ordered online, husband picked up, gets home and we realize items were missing. I just called to get some resolution and the girl who answered gave me the run around - asked for my name several times, took my number and said the manager would have to deal with this. I then I asked for a manager, who again asked me for my name and items in my order. Acted like she was making a huge concession to offer to refund my missing items... Obviously I would like the money back for the things I didn't get. She put me on hold for several minutes and came back to tell me the refund would process in 2 days. That was it. So now I get to supplement the dinner we ordered with stuff from the kitchen. Please don't act like this is a favor or like getting one over asking for my money back when you didn't give me the items I was paying for. Their customer service was whack. 🙄 I'll drive to the other locations...

I was visiting from out of town and this was in the neighborhood. We basically stumbled on it due to proximity. And the food was so good. We began with a small hummus starter with an extra pita. The pitas were tasty and the hummus tasted great. It was that texture that you only get when it's homemade. My entree was salmon on a bed of mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. The salmon was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The mashed potatoes were the best type of comfort food, slightly chunky with bits of potato peel. My friend had carrot cake for dessert and shared some. Once again, delicious. And such a big serving that he took most of it home to have with coffee for breakfast. If I'm ever back in the area, I would happily eat here again.

BEWARE of what your eating! My wife pulled out a sharp piece of metal that looked like a staple from her mouth while eating her chicken hummus, we asked to speak to the manager and manager told us she would compensate the dish, no concern whatsoever for the incident and stated this doesn’t happen often and that the metal is most likely from their wired brushes. We told her we would leave and not eat the food they had just brought out, she said that’s fine and would bring us the check. Manager did not care to address the kitchen and went back to her office. People die from accidental sharp metal ingestion. If she dies this is what caused it.
