Ordered at the drive-through. All was good until I was told by Miranda to drive around front to park and wait for my food. It was 6:48am and there was no one else in the drive-through or in the restaurant. I asked Miranda why I would want to leave the drive-through window to go around and park somewhere. She responded with something about she was told to have morning drive-through do this and that she was just doing what she was told and something about making the food fresh for me. I tried to reason with her and we had somewhat of a awkward exchange. Finally I just decided to leave because why would I want any place that had this poor level of thinking and poor customer service prepare my food. And after the exchange I had, I would not trust my food would be safe. I paid $5.08 and I left the money and food behind highly dissatisfied. In these COVID times of constantly being told what to do outside of thoughtful, reasonable, comfortable situations, the last thing I want to do is to be told to leave the window and park in front for no other reason than Miranda being told to do that. Management needs to implement sound reasoning in...
Read moreI don't normally do reviews unless great service is experienced, which I found today. My work takes me to the Bass Pro in the same shopping center as this Carl's Jr about once a month, so I treat myself and usually have a normal experience, however today was different. Going through the drive through started unusually slow and upon ordering and getting to the window I discovered why, Alexander appeared to be the only person on shift (however it sounded like there might have been someone in the back cooking) and was taking care of both counter customers and drive-thru, packaging and passing out the food, taking orders and all of the front of house duties. In a time where good work ethic is harder to find, he showed a willingness to push through the situation causing him to be alone without complaining or making excuses. Alexander earned a 5 star review today and deserves recognition and probably a...
Read moreI ordered a California classic "No Onions" and criss cut fries. The window attendant confirmed my order correctly and it was even printed correctly on the receipt. However when I received my order I realized after a few bites it had red onions all on the burger. I have a moderate to severe stomach allergy to onions. Luckily I keep allergy pills with me at all times so I may have caught any reactions that may have happened. I called back and spoke with a manager on duty named "Manuel". He was very professional and apologetic for the mistake. Whoever prepares the food should be more careful reading the order slips because this simple mistake or attention to detail could kill someone. Food allergies are very real and can become very serious in a matter of minutes. I hope they do better next time for the safety of...
