Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Mesa

Normally, love this place. I go multiple times a week before work, after, and on the weekend as a daily pick me up. But this is for the girl who literally lied to my face. She has a tattoo on her left arm which was half a butterfly, a date, and then something else. The right arm had a black and red snake/dragony tattoo on it. Management, please let her know that customers are not stupid and this was rude and not okay. I used to be a barista for well over 2 years of my life, I know when coffee doesn't taste right and mine literally had a chemical cleaner taste to it - it happens, I have no problem because I know that things happen. I asked for it remade, she originally said that there was no vanilla in it and that was the problem. We said no, please remake the entire drink just to be safe. She takes our old one, walks to the door, and as we drove up to the window, we heard her say "don't worry about it, I just put vanilla in it", and then she proceeded to tell us that it was a new drink. I tasted it - still tasted like hand sanitizer was in it. I didn't want to deal with this chick anymore so I just said it was okay and we went to the other dutch off of apache trail, got the drink remade and it was 1000x better. Decided to stop and get Dutch Bros at this location rather than the one closest to my house three girls and one dude working had the lowest vibe ever. Every single girl looked hung over like they haven’t taken a shower in a week and had absolutely zero customer service. The lady outside taking orders was an angel but the three inside reminded me of a bunch of mean girls when I nicely said oh I’m sorry that was supposed to be a medium to one of my drinks She looked at me rolled her eyes and said oh well I’m going to have to charge you for that and I said OK that’s fine and then as she was ringing it up to charge me the other girls looked over at me And rolled her eyes and I said never mind I’ll just take the one you already made and I asked her for her name and she rudely said my name is Emily. I think Emily needs to have a sit down And be reminded how to treat people especially ones that come on a daily basis seven days a week and get multiple drinks… very disappointed and not a great start...

When I came here, it was not too busy. I would recommend either going early before 7 am, or go in the after the morning rush which I think ends around 9:30... When I got there, there were only 3 cars in line. Love how they have the 2 lines to drive through and it looks like someone comes out to take your order. I don't think I saw any speakers by the two menu signs they had. (Note: To turn into the drive through, you will see a sign that says Exit Only when you first turn in. Go ahead and turn right. The Exit Only is just so you don't enter the drive through the wrong way).

Service was friendly here and everyone had a smile on. The cashier was very personable too and even made some funny jokes. He really made you feel welcome.

Drink itself was great too. Not overly hot and I like how they doubled the cup so it wouldn't be too hot to hold. Tasted great and plenty of caffeine...
