I selected Someburros to purchase platters for a team event because of some really great experiences in the past. This experience was absolutely horrible! I couldn't complete the order online. This was inconvenient but not too much of a concern; I'll just drop in and order and grab dinner as well. My husband and I ordered dinner; waited over 30 MINUTES for 2 tacos and a cheese crisp. I went up to order the 2 platters for my team that will need to be picked up in 5 days(plenty of time). The team member that took my order was kind and asked all my info and gave me my receipt and I thought we were set. As I was finishing my dinner the team member came to our table to tell me there was an issue and there needed to be a refund and another transaction. I didn't understand since everything went through and I had the receipt and credited to my card. He said it was on their end. I went up to the counter and had the most unpleasant experience I have ever had with anyone in service. The on duty manager didn't apologize for the inconvenience or having to redo the order just told me that the team member didn't do it right and she's having to fix it. She told me that she had my credit card on file and had processed the return. I asked why would she do that without me standing in front of her; why wouldn't she explain to me prior to processing anything on my card? This on duty manager was so patronizing. I couldn't understand her behavior since I was asking questions about a pretty significant order that I place at least 3 times a year. She told me that they were making the platters now and do I want the platters now. I explained I needed them for the date I already indicated she then told me that's why they had to do all of this. I get that this may be something that the team member doesn't do everyday and him not executing correctly was the issue. What I don't understand is this managers behavior, I don't deserve the treatment and lack of common courtesy of explaining transactions when it comes to the my credit card. I asked if she was the GM and she's not. I feel horrible for the team that she was supervising. We heard her shouting and " barking" orders at this crew. She never once apologized for anything only placing fault on the team member. Unfortunately; I will be selecting another establishment to take care of our events. I hope that the Vasquez family finds this post disheartening. This is not the culture of the legacy they would have wanted to be known for. I would strongly encourage others to drive to another location like the Stapley drive location or even the Red Mountain location. The Signal Butte location really doesn't care about how they treat their team or the treatment or...
Read moreI love breakfast burritos. It’s my go to purchased breakfast food and I always enjoy trying new places. Finally got around to someburros yesterday. First thing that for some reason COMPLETELY annoyed me was they charge for green sauce. Red sauce is free but they charge for green. As someone who wants both red and green on ALL things breakfast burrito this hurt me, and then I got even more annoyed as out of sheer principle I don’t want to pay for green salsa. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito and a crunchy beef taco-and honestly I loved the beef taco but the burrito was “meh”. It has a major following, but my initial interaction was mediocre and I feel for the same price point there are better breakfast burritos out there. The staff was super friendly and they were quick with my food though, so that’s a plus.
update They actually reached out to me, sent a personal email and explained that green sauce is more expensive. Then they gave me a gift card and asked to come back and give a second try. I’m not one to turn down free food and went yesterday. I initially gave a 3 star review but have now upgraded to 5 star. I’ve never been a fan of chorizo, but I LOVE bacon breakfast burros. That’s what I got this time and it was stellar. I also ate inside and when you do that you get free chips and two types of red sauce. They are both great. Now I did get the green sauce and I have to be honest-it’s not worth almost $2. It’s great, but not that great IMO. I got the crunchy beef and potato taco and those things are like crunchy heaven. This was a much better experience food wise (both times the employees were very friendly as well) and I have to say the bacon breakfast burro is well worth it. Maybe it’s because they gave me a gift card? But honestly that makes me ABSOLUTELY like them and be loyal to them. I didn’t even give a scathing review, just a slightly disappointed review and they tried to make it right. Their approach to customer service is honestly refreshing and I will absolutely come back…I will still remain annoyed with the green sauce but who cares-the two red...
