I’m really concerned about the manager Josh here. My experience in every other situation here has been amazing! My sandwiches are made to order the way I like but I’m now concerned about their processes.
While ordering my sandwich I watched Josh combining sauce bottles behind the counter without any sanitary precautions. No lids or mouth openings were cleaned before stacking old condiment bottles on to new. I was thankful to get my sauce beforehand so this wasn’t a problem today. It unfortunately makes sense though; because my fiancée cannot eat at this location without always feeling slightly sick. After watching their sanitation practices I understand why now.
Recently, one of the guys who works here and I came up with a slightly unique sandwich and explained to the man making my sandwich (great job to you, you saved this from a one star) what I would like(it’s a carbonara with steak instead of chicken, that’s it) When it came to paying I explained to Josh what I ordered and how they typically ring the order up. Instead Josh decided to enter in the order as something else which was more expensive. $2 isn’t a problem it’s the reaction after questioning it which is my concern. Josh didn’t apologize or try to have any sentiment towards the customer. Instead Josh’s priority was “disciplining the night crew” because they were charging me wrong. I laughed and told him I don’t come in during the night. Josh had a puzzled look and now only cared who made the sandwich, still no care about the experience or attempt to show sympathy. He again wanted to address to me how they are wrong and Quiznos is a business here to make money.
When I asked for the owners contact information he handed me a card. When I expressed his lack of response was disheartening he responded with “well you’re just going to argue with me anyways right?” If it wasn’t for Josh I would be coming back back unfortunately after today’s experience I...
Read moreIf you want a seriously good example of what Quiznos should be, but practically never is, GO TO THIS LOCATION. My wife and I like Quiznos, but in Arizona especially, finding a location that is actually good (and now not closed) is practically impossible. This location is a absolutely phenomenal. The owner works there and actually gives a damn about his shop. The employees are always competent. Above all else, the food is consistently fresh and good. If you've never had Quiznos "done right", treat yourself to this location. So far 100% of the time the experience has been just right. The bread has been fresh, the ingredients have been tasty, and the staff has been very helpful and nice.
This is not an endorsement of every Quiznos; practically 90% of my Quiznos experiences have been below average. This location, is seriously top...
Read moreKitchen was a little bit in disarray, so I was some what nervous to eat here. But for Quiznos for the first time in about 15 years, it was fantastic. Great food. But what struck me was the manager and the employee. The employee was extremely happy to be working, very personable. His sheer positivity created a very welcoming environment for me, the little old ladies next to me and the delivery man. The employee also spoke very highly of the manager and his kindness. I imagine, the manager is just as friendly and setting a great example for his employees. Highly recommend this specific location as you get the high quality food with the Mom and Pop shop type customer service. The employee is a rockstar, wish he worked at...
