Well, This used to be one of my family favorites and we hit it on a regular basis back in 2000-2004. We moved away, recently in town for a nostalgic trip and see if Mike (GM) was still around, we stopped in. The website indicated they were closing at 1000 pm. I arrived at 5 minutes to 900 pm and was told they were closing "dining in" service at 900pm and to go orders at 1000pm. Which sure felt like a polite way to say "Get your food to go". However, they did say we could still dine in if we chose to. The counter service at ordering was friendly- Offered the special order pizza and everything. However, as soon as I pai and moved toward the buffet line everything changed. The salad bar person was acting like she was being put out for serving us. - A side of ranch...The pasta bar was shut down so fast I could not even get a side of alfredo. We sat at a round table near the restrooms and by 917pm they had all the other chairs up in the restaurant. It was the most unwelcome I have ever felt in any restaurant. The game room was powered down, it just was not too friendly. I understand "pre-close" duties, and labor cost etc. (17 minutes is not that long to stay past your scheduled shift) I ran food service for years. It was always my opinion that customer service and hospitality do not have to suffer to keep numbers in line. Anyway...Mike had a picture on the wall still, But it sure did not feel like the place...
Read moreBefore I go to any establishment I always check there reviews. I do it to get a view of what others think of it, just like most if not all people do. When I checked this place out, and saw that it had 4.3 stars. I said to myself impossible, there must be an error somewhere.
I underestimated this CiCis, my husband and I went there yesterday. And when I say I was blown away, I really was. Mike, the manager went to every table and asked every customer if everything was alright. He didn’t just stop there. He would also refill their drinks, clean their table, and even bring them food if they wanted him to.
While he was cleaning off another customer table then headed over to talk with us. A couple had just finished their food, and walked out. He ran to the door waved them down, to thank the both of them. When he got to our table I told him I said I wondered why this CiCis had four stars, now I understand why. This is CiCis Pizza with Chick-fil-a customer service.
During the pandemic the whole place had been remodeled, and soon they’ll be adding a game room. This is not your typical small game room, that you see at other establishments. This will be more similar to a Dave and Buster game room. I will be returning, just as soon as I run off, the 15 pounds I’ve accumulated. To Mike and his whole staff thank you, and I’ll definitely be back for more...
Read moreI normally don't leave reviews like this. but I was in earlier today after I got off work and going through the buffet, getting what I wanted, I've been a long time customer! and granted being a bigger I can get alot. but after my first go through of the buffet I'm usually done after that.
soo I was there earlier this afternoon getting my plate when one of the managers behind the buffet (I could be wrong but I believe it was Ramon, he was a little taller then the other manager) I was fixing my plate and he makes a comment like "you know you can always come back and get more right?".. too which I responded "I know!".. I usually get what I want on the first go through and I'm finished
soo that struck me a little odd but not even a couple seconds later after that I get what I want, grab my tray and walk too a table and as I'm passing the salad bar he asks "hey you want a salad??"
it wasn't soo much what was said. it's how it was said, I don't know if he meant anything malicious by it, but it just didn't sit well with me after he made the comment that I can "always come back too the buffet". then asks if I want a salad.
everything else was great! food was good as always and everyone was nice!. it was just this one interaction that didn't sit well with me.. I felt like it was rude and...
