Xquinkles Fruteria y Neveria — Restaurant in Mesquite

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!! I came here because I saw it across the street and wanted to try this place because my family and I wanted to try something new & we were craving delicious ice cream. Whenever we first walked, the workers didn’t greet us or acknowledge us AT ALL. There was no other customers at the moment and we were patiently waiting to be attended. After like seven minutes a worker (lady with red hair and bangs) came up to the register and asked us what we’d like. SHE MADE US PAY BEFORE WE EVEN GOT THE ITEMS. UNLIKE BRAUMS. We payed her $8.75 for two ice cream cones. And then waited to receive the Ice cream that we paid for. My family and I probably waited well over 10 minutes. The workers didn’t care at all it was like they were ignoring us and our existence, they were just cleaning. They had their backs turned around. ALSO family and I overheard them say "That the ice cream was HARD/STALE/ and had FREEZER BURNS, but they never mentioned that to us or told us that they were having issues, so we were just patiently waiting to be attended and we weren’t told anything at all. After a long time of waiting and feeling like we weren’t being acknowledged, and ignored. I told the lady if she could refund me my money because we were waiting a LONG time, and then the lady said, "I’ll put hot water on the ice cream to melt it down for you". Overall, this place is HORRIBLE! THE STAFF IS RUDE, INCONSIDERATE, IGNORANT, and overall very CHAFA CORRIENTE , THESE workers have no manners at all. ESPECIALLY GIOVANA. THIS IS MY FIRST and DEFINITELY LAST TIME HERE. Family went home disappointed, and empty handed after waiting...

We went in there tonight and we weren't even acknowledged. My 8 year old stood there looking and talking about what she wanted and the 2 ladies behind the counter had their backs to us the entire time. My husband eventually asked then if they were even going to acknowledge us here, the one lady turned around and claims she said hello. Which none of us heard then she's like we'll be right with you. The attitude was ridiculous and racism towards us was wrong. We will never return there, this was our first and last visit as that was the worst first impression...

Walked in with my daughter, ladies just looked up at us, I didn't get no acknowledgement. one just up walked away and i placed my order, paid. No thank u have a great day or nothing. The vibe when I walked in wasn't giving friendly small business. And the prices are outrageous. $5.99 for hot chips and chesse and $10.99 for fresas con crema. I'll just keep driving 10/15 mins to get My late...
