Bar 504 — Restaurant in Metairie

We ran to Bar504 almost as soon as we heard that the old Sammy's Deli was operating there and we were not disappointed at all. In fact, we were thrilled as the food was the same and possibly even better - we got our standard onion ring order - perfectly seasoned. We ordered fried cheese, a new one for us and it exceeded our expectations - cheese melted and pulling from your mouth, freshly made. We both got our favorite poboy there - the Chicken Cordon Bleu and it was better that before because it seemed even better than we remembered the bread was the freshest I've had in a long time. Their honey mustard is my favorite ever. Their ranch and marinara is great too - I'm a sauce girl! The cherry on top was our server, Rachel - she was very friendly, sharp, fast and on point with our order and anything we needed. I like this spot.... I love Carrie and Ashley.... they both are great at socializing, mixing drinks and making you wanna stay and talk.. Thats Sugar and Spice!

Burgers are really good. Steak night OMG.... the steak are juicy, tender, even well done its literally better than these expensive joints. Baked Macaroni is REAL Baked mac... somehow the green beans are literally perfectly seasoned. ....

Drinks are awesome. Bathrooms are always clean. Parking is a bish because theres maybe 5 or 6 spots in the front but the rest is street parking on the side street.

Crowd is older which I like (upper 30s and up) Music varies. awesome patio...

+2 stars cause the bartender was cool and they don't make the food. -3 for the quality of food. I guess they call them chicken fingers for a reason. Worse than what Cane's has become. $15 and this is what you get. Mac was a clump of dried noodles, fries were cold and stale. Will never order...
