After going to a motor cross event in New Orleans, my friend and I decided to stop here and get something before hitting the interstate to head back to mobile. By this time it's 23:53(11:53p.m). First they tell me that they can't do two orders in drive. We ask if they are open inside, the drive thru girl said,"no." We get to the first window and the manger is there and says that it's company policy so, not only do they not put the customer first like they should, they also inconvenienced us by having us drive around to order AGAIN! Causing us to back track and not arrive home until 3 a.m. I'm disgusted by their customer service and how they treat us, customers. FYI, all I wanted was a Lg coke and a bottle of water and my friend is wanted a cheeseburger and a bottle of water, nothing crazy or hard to do. McDonald's has declined drastically the past 8 years. Every year the customer service is worse, it's as if customer service isn't a term to the McDonald's industry or at least most. I hope corporate fixes their mistakes in management. Hire people that represent your business with integrity, the best customer service to offer, and that make people want to come back. Read moreWent thru the drive thru to pickup some nuggets and fries for the grandson. The attendant asked for my order and she started having troubles when repeating it to me, then it sounded like someone else took over, and they certainly were upset and short with me, as if they didn't have time for my order. I almost pulled out of the line after being talked to like that, but my wife encouraged me to see it thru since the 2 year old was hungry. After that experience I drove to the 1st window and found a young lady that did not greet me, and had a blank, stoned or zoned out look on her face. She was able to complete the payment transaction completely expressionless and I moved on to the final window to pick up my food. The young lady working this window was the one bright spot in the whole experience. She greeted me, smiled and most importantly thanked me for my business. The nuggets were warm and somewhat flavorful. The fries were bland soggy and without salt. Overall, we were very disappointed in our McDonald's experience, and it may be awhile before we return. There are plenty of other fast food restaurants out there that will be happy to take our money...
