My visit today was absolutely unforgettable, and I can honestly say it’s the best Waffle House experience I’ve had across all locations I’ve been to. This isn’t just any Waffle House—it's a place where you truly feel the passion and dedication in every bite, thanks to the exceptional cook and the fantastic service from the staff. The cook Big Tay , and Ms. Ann, is a true gem. You can tell that Big Tay the cook puts her heart and soul into every meal she prepares. The food was nothing short of spectacular—each dish was cooked to perfection, and you could taste the care and attention she gives to her craft. Whether it was the golden, crispy waffles or the savory hashbrowns, every bite was bursting with flavor. You simply can’t find this level of culinary dedication at most Waffle House locations, and it’s clear that Ms. Ann the waitress takes pride in her work, making every customer feel like they’re getting a home-cooked meal from someone who genuinely cares. And let’s not forget about the service! Big Tay the cook wasn’t just the cook, she was also a source of warmth and hospitality. But she wasn’t alone in making the experience great. The waitress, whose name was also Ms. Ann, truly elevated the visit with her friendly and attentive customer service. She made sure my table was taken care of, checked in regularly, and ensured that my meal was perfect from start to finish. This was our first time at a waffle house and I must say I was not in the least amused. Two stars for the food. In fact the food was the only good thing about it. -3 for the service. Not only did it take forever to be seated and get our food, only one meal put of 4 was correct. The second meal my mother was given a bacon bowl instead of sausage, then the last two they put grits instead of hashbrowns. By the time these came out my mom and i were already done with our food. To make matters worse they completely forgot the waffles, sausage, and bacon on the last two meals. I am usually a person who is willing to give the benefit of the doubt. I dont know if the guy was new or what, but honestly if he was new, he wasnt receiving any training or shadowing. He also had airpods in the entire time. We had to flag down another waitress just to get the rest of our food. Not pleased. Would give a one star if the food wasnt still delicious. 3 out of 4 meals were wrong and or missing food. Waffle House needs to go away! I am sick of the overhype social media has played on this place starting with the fights along with cheap food that you can make at home. I walked in and had a question about a coupon but was never greeted and was just ignored by someone facing me doing something else. Then she checks out another customer who had his check ready and still ignored me after 5 minutes. I had to ask her sarcastically does she works up there. She then acted like she was ready for me to order but then with my question they had to get a manager. He comes out and lets me use this coupon. I get my order and told another worker how I was ignored but she made excuses for this overgrown woman and claimed she was shy. I then contacted customer service but they don’t have a hotline just an online form and they don’t call you back.
