I saw an Instagram video about this place a few months back and made a note of the name in my phone. I finally had the pleasure of dining here with a few of my friends. Every single one of us left with a smile on our face. The service and food was outstanding! All of us got the Birria tacos which come with what seemed to be a homemade fried tortilla shell, cheese that was melted onto the shell, meat of choice, cilantro, and sides of a spicy sauce and a cooler avacado based sauce. The shell was excellent, very light but held everything in place, even while dunking into the 8 oz of consome that comes on the side. All of the meat was tender and seasoned to perfection. All of us got the Horchata as well which was delicious. The waiter was kind enough to offer us a sample of their fruit cocktail dessert. I would absolutely recommend checking this place out. While the price of the meals that come with the consome is a little steep, it is one hundred percent worth every penny considering the freshness, quality, and pleasant experience you will get when...
Read moreTriana’s was one of the best Mexican meals I’ve ever had. The warm welcome from the owners who are so sweet and generous, was a great way to start the night. While waiting for our food that came out in a timely manner, the homemade horchata was perfect to sip on.
Their Birria tacos are a must try, could not get enough of the consome, the radishes and cucumber they have on the side balanced the dish out. Don’t forget to load up on their spicy red salsa if you can handle the heat! You will be fully stuffed at this point as the price is totally worth the amount but you definitely need to have dessert if you can manage.
The owner came out in the end with churros that were golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and filled with the right amount of raspberry. Truly blown away at the quality and quantity, far better than ones I’ve had at a higher price point. For only being opened 5 months, this charming place has all the ambiance and will make for a great...
Read moreFirstly, the humidity in this restaurant was excruciating and uncomfortable. It was the first thing I asked about when we were seated. The gentleman who sat us acted as if the humidity was not a thing then he finally succumbed to the fact that it was really hot in there. Nothing was done and it made our dine in experience lackluster. There wasn't many dine-in guests in the restaurant so not sure that they even knew what was going on. Our waitress, which was the only one working, was fairly new (she told us) and acted as if she didn't want to be there. So, we ordered right away to try and get out of there as soon as possible. Drinks were ok. When attempted to order certain juices that are on their menu we were told they didn't have any (they only had 2). I ordered Quesabirria with churrasco steak and was given a chorizo Quesabirria(after specifying I didn't want anything spicy) Lol. Let's just say, I will not be going back...
