Pollo Express — Restaurant in Mexia

They serve some DELICIOUS tacos out of this little trailer. We tried them for the first time today and will be back soon. We had 3 tacos de pollo and 2 tacos de Pastor. They came with a roasted Jalapeno Pepper that was sweet and not spicy at all, though that was likely a fluke. They give you 2 containers of excellent hit sauces. The (green) Salsa Verde was great and moderately spicy. The (red) Salsa Roja was tasty but had a sneaky, creeping heat that was so spicy I started hiccuping! We had the tacos on Corn Tortillas and will do the same from now on as they were perfectly cooked...

They have the best Al Pastor tacos around, this place is fantastic, they sell a good variety of Mexican food including whole chickens.

I definitely recommend this place, the staff is super friendly, helpful and very patient with new customers. I definitely recommend the tacos, the agua frescas (Melon or Pineapple) and even the burritos.

Broooo this would be one of the best spots in the tri-county area if I could get a decent repasado. All it's missing is tequila.

The corn tortillas had the texture of fresh masa so if they don't make them at the restaurant I need to know what they are buying. Barbacoa tacos on corn tortillas with onion and cilantro is my jam.

The quesadillas were good and the burrito alone will knock out them hunger pangs.
