The 581 — Restaurant in Mexico

Tony and his crew have created a great little gem in Mexico for an evening meal or to watch the football game on Sunday (or even Thursday or Monday). Love the food, the staff as well! The staff is fun, friendly, and service oriented with the goal of creating a positive experience for guests. On the food I particularly recommend the awesome wings! I have also enjoyed several types of sliders with the catfish sliders being a favorite. Oh, I have to remember the ribeye sandwich! The menu that I have sampled is excellent from top to bottom! They have set up some special football party days for a few late afternoon games this season and will have food and drink specials, a dj, and giveaways to create a great Sunday afternoon game atmosphere. Check in with them to see when the next one is and plan ahead for it! Parking has been easy, although I do get there early on game days and would recommend the same. All in all, I highly recommend The 581 for a stop after work, an evening out with friends, enjoying local and national sporting events, and coming out for one of their Sunday football parties! My wife and I walked into the establishment and there were 4 other families there. To social distance, we asked to be seated at another table that would allow space between our table and 2 families sitting on opposite sides. The larger guy (maybe the short order cook?) said "Can't cha just sit here cause this place fills up pretty quick. Y'all gonna be here for a couple of hours?" His statement made no sense given the situation. As we were seated, we could over hear the only waitress complaining about being overworked and having kids to feed so she puts up with it. Absolutely exquisite! Lunch and Dinner, no matter the selection on the menu, is by far the best! The team knows how to service and provide extraordinary meals in Mexico! I also love the nightlife! The team again provides service exceeding my expectations and services wonderful drinks because they know mixology by heart and knows how to communicate with their customers as well as their late night menu being convenient when partaking or not of alcohol to fill your hunger though out the night!
