Review: Chick’n Jones – A Must-Try Fried Chicken Spot in Doral
If you’re on the hunt for the best fried chicken sandwich in Doral, look no further than Chick’n Jones. This new hotspot is already making waves with its perfectly crispy, juicy, and flavor-packed sandwiches.
The star of the menu? The PJ Mushroom Fried Chicken Sandwich—an absolute game-changer. It starts with a beautifully fried, golden-brown chicken breast that’s crispy on the outside and unbelievably tender on the inside. But what takes it to the next level is the combination of melted provolone, rich onion jam, and perfectly sautéed mushrooms. The cheese adds a creamy, slightly sharp bite, the onion jam brings a touch of sweetness, and the mushrooms add an earthy depth that balances everything out. Each bite is a perfect harmony of textures and flavors.
Beyond the food, Chick’n Jones delivers on atmosphere and service, too. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing a sandwich to go, the experience is just as satisfying as the food itself.
For fried chicken lovers, this place is a must-visit. Trust me—after one bite of the PJ Mushroom Fried Chicken Sandwich, you’ll be coming...
Read moreSo I ordered the 4 piece chicken and side of fries, but when I received my plate I was given six chicken drumettes (part of the wing) as my chicken. Not sure why or if they were out of the chicken pieces but it would have been nice to know when I ordered that they did not have the pieces, especially since they are charging the same price which is totally unfair to the customer. I didn't complain, so tried to enjoy the meal....chicken was crispy, but since all I had was the little drums I can say how the texture of the breast, thigh or rest of the wing would have been. The drums were ok, a little chewy and the hot Jones sauce was like a gel coating, a little sweet and spicy but it was a heavy coat. Not bad but not worth the price to be honest. Yardbird makes much better fried chicken so probably...
Read moreI just had the best fried chicken experience at Chick N Jones. I tried their signature hot honey fried chicken sandwich with southern slaw and a side of the famous sweet potato biscuit – both were outstanding. The chicken was crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy inside, and packed with flavor, and that drizzle of hot honey added the perfect sweet-spicy kick. Don’t sleep on the sweet potato biscuit with cinnamon butter; it’s absolutely to die for. On top of the amazing food, the staff was super friendly and happy to chat about their favorite menu items, which made us feel right at home. The vibe was fun and casual (set in a cool artsy neighborhood food hall), and you can really tell there’s a lot of love put into everything here – I’m already excited to come...
