I only write bad reviews when it’s necessary. I have been a client of Tranquility at Doral since 2022. But sadly I am really disappointed with this place for several reasons. First of all, they ALWAYS charged me $35 for a haircut, and $15 for the special hair wash. I asked the lady for the $15 special wash like ALWAYS. And the lady at the front charged me more for the special wash and the haircut. They not even styled my air or anything, they just cut it, and the lady charged me $50 dollars for the haircut and $20 for the special wash. I went through the bad reviews and this is not the first time they have done this to their clients. I attached the pictures of the receipt I asked, because they don’t give you a receipt if you don’t ask for one, and I also attached the screenshots of their website with their prices. I don’t know why they are stealing from their customers. Furthermore, I first went to another appointment with someone different, “I always go with the same person, but she wasn’t available” and the other lady looked down at my husband and I. I asked her to please cut my daughters hair first and she didn’t want to start with my daughter, she wanted to start with me. I told her that I already washed my hair at home and she forced me to wait to wash my hair, then I told her the haircut I wanted, and she wanted to do something totally different. We went to the front desk and change the appointment. And the next appointment is when they charged me more, and when I got home, I noticed they didn’t cut my hair right. I am really disappointed with this place. I tried to give it another opportunity, but I really regret it. Now I have an appointment in another salon, they are charging me $40 for a haircut and the hair wash is included. Hopefully they can fix my hair. And I hope you stop stealing from your customers and train your workers to give good...
Read moreWas my first time visiting this salon. Had an appointment originally with Katy and upon arrival was told she was running late and was placed with Santiago. Off the bat I wasn’t happy with the last minute change because I was recommended with Katy and specifically made my appointment with her. But the receptionist reassured me Santiago was just as good. To start the lady that washed my hair did not seem happy to have to wash my hair. I had a late appointment and it just seemed like everyone was rushed to leave. The wash was not good or relaxing. I had a haircut and blowdry. Not to say the stylist was rude but he wasn’t friendly either. Didn’t even try to make some conversation. As a first time customer you just want to feel comfortable with your stylist. Was quiet the whole time other than asking how I wanted to cut my hair. While blow drying he burnt my scalp several times. He also didn’t ask how I wanted it styled and just iron it straight which I hate. Then the pricing came and I was in for a rude awakening. The reception hits me with a total of $120. I was shocked.. The website states that a cut is $35 and a blowdry $35. I asked for a breakdown of the pricing and it was as follows: $5 (Wash) never in my life have I been to salon that charged for a wash. $60 (Blowdry)! I have a lot of hair but have never paid this much. $35 (Haircut) reasonable $15 (Iron) that’s is crazy also. The place i do my blowdry charges me $50 for a blow and iron. Not to mention of course I have to add tip to both the stylist and person that washed my hair. Which I think neither deserved but I would never not tip someone for their work. The receptionist was kind enough to not charge me the iron work. But nonetheless it’s crazy expensive. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and not...

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I visited after seeing several influencers promote it, but it was a huge mistake. I asked Santi, the stylist, to cut just a small amount—about three fingers off—but instead, he chopped off half of my hair. The result was absolutely disastrous, and I left the salon in tears. My hair is now so badly cut that I can’t even style it properly at home.
When I called to complain, they made a snide remark, saying they “can’t glue my hair back.” I returned in person the next day, hoping to speak to the owners, but they were dismissive and rude. Their exact response was, “What do you want us to do about it?”
I had to beg for basic decency after they ruined hair that took me years to grow. After explaining for the 10th time how poorly they were treating me, they finally agreed to give me a refund and an appointment to “fix” my hair, but I didn’t go. I don’t trust them, and no one should have to fight this hard for the bare minimum.
To make it worse, Santi saw me when I returned, knowing how unhappy I was with the haircut, and completely ignored me. Not a single apology, not an ounce of empathy. What kind of stylist behaves like that? He took no accountability for what he did. Disgusting behavior from both the stylist and the owners.
Save your money and avoid this place...
