My husband and I had dinner here last night and were really taken back by the lack of professionalism and customer service over a situation. I've never had anything like this happen in any dining scenario, let alone a restaurant at a higher price point (our dinner was $120)

My husband ordered the mushroom pasta and when it arrived he mentioned it was missing chicken. They had a lot of add on items so I told him I didn't hear him request to add chicken. We thought it was his mistake so we didn't say anything to our server. Later when it was time to pay the bill, it was a self serve check out and it did not give an itemized list, but just the total. My husband printed out the receipt and noticed it said with chicken. We brought it to the server's attention and I requested that some sort of deduction be taken because we didn't get chicken (arguably the most expensive part of the meal). Her offering was to send us off with a chicken breast to go. I told her we were going out after this and I didn't want a chicken breast sitting in the car for hours. She kept saying "it's not an add on so it's not something I can deduct." There was no apology for their mistake and the reaction felt so cold and not flexible at all, especially because they are the ones that messed up. I asked to speak to the manager and it took 15 minutes or so to speak to her. I explained the situation and she said " the price is the same whether you get chicken or not and unfortunately it's not an add on thing so I can't take it off." I was honestly furious. I said this is really horrible customer service and we paid for something we didn't fully get so we shouldn't pay full price or in most dining situations, the meal would be comped. She was not budging at all so I said I would be happy to write a review based on this situation. Her response was "go for it." I understand margins are tighter at a small business and I wasn't expecting a free meal but the fact that we paid for something and didn't receive it as advertised, I feel like something should've been given. A free dessert or something? An apology? And conveniently we already paid a 20% tip for this before we were aware of the mistake. Just mind blowing that this is how they handle conflict and their mistake! It's how a business handles the negative that shows their values and gives the customer a lasting impression of who they really are.

After reading their reviews, it's either an amazing experience or when issues arise, they do not budge and say too bad. They obviously have local die hard customers and could probably care less about the occasional bad experience for certain customers. I would never return which is sad because otherwise the food was great and I'd give 5 stars. But for $22, it was a sword they wanted to die on and would rather get a bad review, no referrals, and potential people turning away based on this review. This is not how a successful business is run, Bite. In today's economy food is expensive and the least you owe people is what...

so disappointed! Let me start by saying we used to LOVE to visit Bite, we have been there at least a 1/2 dozen times since our neighbors turned us on to this place. So you ask, why the change of heart... Tonights experience was pathetically disappointing. My sausage & caramelized onion flatbread appetizer (which was delicious) came out followed about a minute later by my lobster mac & cheese side dish, both hot but I could not enjoy my flatbread appetizer... so I took my time and the lobster mac was cold by the time I finished the flatbread. Who serves the side dish with the appetizer when I haven't even had my salad??? So I get the lobster mac & cheese to go. Time goes by with no food and then the salad shows up with a great Curry Molasses Vinegarette dressing, I take one bite and my whole Trout arrives about 30 seconds later... really, why did you not bring me the salad in the time when there was no food? So I now inhale my salad only to find that my whole Trout is now cold...ARGH!!! So disgusted at this point, I got my fish to go. Something has changed at Bite, the timing was off, the waitress never came back with replacement napkin after my fantastic flatbread and the bread I inquired about purchasing to take home (they sell loaves to go) was never mentioned again. The food was still delicious, but is not worth it, if it comes at the wrong time and is then cold by the time you get to it. The quaint intimacy seems to be gone... the wait staff seems to have been stolen from a Chili's and there was little concern about our experience from anyone even when we told two staff members. Needless to say, this restaurant is now off our radar. If you go be sure to tell them the order in which you want your food and that you would like to finish each course before proceeding on...

From the moment you step into Bite Restaurant in Milford, Ohio, you know you’re in for something special. The atmosphere sets the stage for a dining experience that’s bold, intimate, and, dare I say, a little seductive. The modern yet cozy décor creates a perfect ambiance for savoring every bite (pun intended).

The appetizers? Let’s just say they’ll leave you wanting more. The crispy, golden calamari was perfectly tender on the inside, with a flirtatious crunch on the outside. It’s the kind of dish that teases your taste buds, coaxing you into the next course with its delicate yet daring flavor profile.

When the main course arrives, you’ll be caught in a passionate embrace of textures and tastes. The perfectly seared steak was rich and juicy, its smoky, charred edges leaving you breathless in the best way possible. Paired with a decadent, creamy mashed potato that practically melted in my mouth, it was the kind of meal you don’t rush — you savor every moment, letting the flavors linger.

Dessert? Well, the chocolate lava cake was an indulgent finish that had me at hello. The molten center oozed out with a decadent richness, reminding me of a sweet kiss I didn’t want to end.

Bite Restaurant does more than serve food; it creates an experience that excites, entices, and leaves you eagerly anticipating your next visit. It’s the kind of place where every course feels like a...

Visited again last night and, again, it was a great experience. We brought a bottle of Bread and Butter Pinot Noir to enjoy with our meal. Although it didn't pair well with the food we got, it's still a fantastic wine. We ordered an appetizer but something happened and it didn't come out. That ended up being a good thing because we were so full with the food we did get. My wife had the Blue Crab Fettuccine Alfredo - a blackboard special. She got the gluten free pasta. It was fantastic! Creamy and the seafood was perfect. I had the whole fish, which was Branzino, topped with crab Alfredo. What an excellent dish! For sides I got the bleu cheese cole slaw and mashed potatoes. Second time I've had the cole slaw so that alone tells you I like it. Creamy and tangy. The mashed potatoes were buttery and just great. Ended with desserts of Bourbon vanilla bean creme brulee and lemon whip cake. The creme brulee was smooth and very tasty, and the cake was light and the lemon filling was tart. Looking forward to our next visit!

Our social distancing was done by being seated outdoors, which was perfect for us! Our server Rebecca brought us ice buckets for our wine and beer. The alligator bites were scrumptious with the red pepper jelly😋. All the food was delicious! Service was great! High recommend, but you need a reservation. Another visit and the food did not disappoint! The cheese board was excellent and were able to get gluten free bread and crackers for one in our party. There are gluten free choices here. I had one of the specials, chicken marabella. The presentation was beautiful. I've added a picture of this dish. We share three different cakes: lemon, blue velvet, and chocolate decadence. They were all really good. Our server, Haley, was very attentive and would hope to have her the next time we visit. Remember.... reservations are important, especially if you have a large party and want to sit outside.

I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Bite makes the best reuben sandwich I've ever had and I've had quite a few. After trying the Reubens available at Oktoberfest I started looking for something better and available locally. I am also mildly gluten intolerant so I wanted some gluten free bread. I was able to find that combination at Izzy's, McAlister's, and Jason's chain delis but the quality was good not great. Bite has an unbelievably good reuben sandwich. The thick slabs of corned beef are the best part but the kraut is great also. The crunch of their gluten free bread, homemade thousand island, and tasty Swiss cheese seal the deal. If there is a reuben avaliable anywhere else as good as this I'd be surprised. I got a side salad and the ranch was great. Also the blackened grilled shrimp skewer was great. I'll be back for more soon! This is truly a great destination for foodies!
