This breaks my heart to write but it is important inform the serious ethical issues at Cecibon. The owner has shown clear operations issues. My uncle have been working there since Jan 2024. They have short change him a number of times and is paying him significantly lower wages and not adhering to Florida employment laws. There are times he worked over 8 hours and only received $50 for his full time in cash. They agreed on a hourly rate of $10. When it was brought to the owner attention, he just threw extra $100. Not paying for the full time he has been present since Jan. Also one of his other coworkers did not receive a paycheck for over one month. They are doing this to recent legal authorized Haitian immigrants. You all should be a shame of yourself to do that to your own people.

This is honestly disappointing. I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid. Additionally, cecibon is cutting corners in operations and services, compromising quality and safety of leftover. The owner's frequent demeaning outbursts further contribute to a toxic work environment.

We are filing a report with the state office. Supporting businesses that treat their employees fairly and operate ethically strengthens our community and upholds our shared values.

Thank you for your attention. Together, we can ensure Miami remains a welcoming and respectful place for all. I will no longer be a guest of this business

Ey yo look at this picture and tell me if this doesn't look as good as I know it does. First time coming here but surely not the last. I've visited several carribean restraunts across miami and this one HITS DIFFERENT.

The location restraunt is clean with good atmosphere and helpful staff. I write this with saliva building at the corner of my mouth . This food smell phenomenonal .

Update : Theyve been hiking their prices up to ridicoulous amounts. That plate in picture used to be 13 now its 17 . Their pricing out there main demographic that eats this food. So I wonder how they plan to stay long term if the averge black american / hatian american can goto chef creole and pay 15 percent less for the same food.

If you've ever seen my previous reviews on most restraunts or business throughout miami. You know I don't B.S my reviews and I tell the facts. The facts are Cesibon in miami is an amazing unspoken gem in the city 🙌

P.S I know this doesn't matter to most people but what I thought was super neat was the pricing on food here. Most carribean spots tend to overcharge while providing low quality and quantity. But these folks have appropriate pricing that matches what id consider a generous serving size for great...

It’s disappointing how some establishments forget that customer service is just as important as the food they serve. Unfortunately, I didn’t even get the chance to try anything at this location because the service—or lack thereof—completely turned me away.

When I walked in, there was an older man standing near the front, not behind the counter, watching TV. I assumed he was a customer waiting for his order. He didn’t greet me—just nodded. It wasn’t until I approached the counter that he slowly made his way behind it, still saying nothing. His focus remained on the television.

When I asked if any items were unavailable, he barely looked up and simply pointed while saying, “Oxtails.” That was it. No welcome, no engagement, no interest in serving a customer. It was around 8:45 PM—close to closing time—so it was clear he was just ready to be done for the day.

I had actually planned to place a large order and sample several items from the menu, but that experience made it clear my business wasn’t valued. So, I walked out.

Customer service makes all the difference. Unfortunately, this place failed before the food even...

For over two decades, I’ve been aware of this culinary gem, though my palate had only ventured as far as their chicken—a dish that, back in my chicken-eating days, was nothing short of divine. Even recently, I had fried chicken & rice and peas catered for a repast dinner. Recently, I decided to broaden my horizons and indulged in their shrimp with fries and a side of sour soup juice. The shrimp was a masterclass in seasoning—each bite bursting with a flavorful blend of spices that elevated the natural sweetness of the seafood. The fries were delicious as i am truly a fry afficionado. Lastly, the sour soup drink—a perfectly balanced, palate-cleansing delight that rounded out the meal beautifully. This experience reaffirmed why this establishment has stood the test of time in my memory and why it remains a must-visit for anyone seeking a true Haitian culinary excellence.

Talk about restaurants in gas stations - this is a Haitian spot. To tell the truth we just had the fried chicken legs with plantain. So good. Made to order, hot and fresh. The chicken was nice and meaty done just right. The plantain is known elsewhere in town as tostones. They have a nice menu of lots of other dishes. There are a half dozen tables with seats if you want to eat in, no atmosphere at all, but the food is really good.
