Motel Bianco — Hotel in Miami

This place truly deserves a zero star, but they’re lucky there’s no option for that. The Service was horrible. We rented this place on on Airbnb and was communicating with the host that we’d like an early check in as our flight was coming in super early. They said they could possibly accommodate us for an extra $20 however they were not able to accommodate us the day of which was okay because we understood that it wasn’t a guarantee, since we never been to Miami before, we decided to drop our things off at motel and see how the area was maybe we could wait near by instead of at the airport all day. I was travelling with someone in a wheelchair I am his caregiver. Miami is already not very accommodating when it comes to ubers and taxis And since we didn’t know the area, we decided to just go to the motel and figure it out from there that would’ve been the safest option for us. Upon arrival we were greeted In the most disrespectful way possible. As we walked in the guy standing at the desk, looked at me and said you know this is not a hotel, right. Instead of saying, hello how can I help you? Or just a simple hello. It was just pure disrespect that was coming out of his mouth and attitude. I explained to him that we were here for a check-in and we understood that we couldn’t come in early, but we just didn’t know where else to go and we asked him if there was anywhere to wait until 3 o’clock at this point, it was 9:30 AM. Mind you there was a whole lobby … man looked at us and said no with a blank stare on his face… he was just really disrespectful and he had this aggression towards us we just decided to cancel and find somewhere else to stay my client in the wheelchair did not feel safe as he is completely paralyzed and cannot walk and I as a female, he didn’t feel like I could protect him If something were to happen, not only is the motel sketchy the area also is. We booked this motel through Airbnb and stayed for 3 nights. You can tell the room has been updated, and the host is clearly making an effort to improve the space. Glen was super responsive and helpful, which I really appreciated throughout the stay.

The room was clean but felt humid. The AC worked really well—almost too well—and made the room cold, but turning up the temperature made it stuffy. There was a dehumidifier in the room, but it was full and blowing warm air, so it didn’t help much. Air circulation could definitely be better, especially if you’re sharing the room.

The bathroom is extremely small and only had two towel hooks, which made it a bit tight for a group. Towels and toiletries were provided for the number of guests, but extras cost more. The blow dryer worked but was worn out. The fridge was so cold it froze our leftovers—even in the fridge section.

The front window had a paper blind that was pinned up. We let it down for privacy and noticed it had a stain and a hole. It wasn’t a huge deal, but little things like that do affect the overall experience.

We paid $20 for early check-in and got the info right away after payment, which made arrival easy. We didn’t have any safety issues or disturbances during our stay.

To say we are disappointed would be a understatement. We were going to a concert in the area and needed somewhere quick and cheap to stay. The pictures were cute so we booked it but then our concert cancelled. We tried to move the date of the air bnb and was told no due to the policy, even though there was a category 4 hurricane hitting the state. We went anyways and decided to make the best of it but it only got worse. We walked in to dirty carpet(not the beautiful pictured hardwood), mold in the bathroom, stains in the bedding, dirty walls, etc. Overall the place looked like it was held together by spackle and paint.

We left and bought another hotel because we were not comfortable staying at such a dirty place. We requested a refund and was told we’d be contacted by a manger and got no response.

If you are debating between picking this place and another, choose the other. If you are about to book this, do yourself a favor and find something better. These reviews...
