Came for a tasting with my bachelorette group and my MOH called earlier to see if we needed to reserve a table since there was a total 14 of us. And was told no that they don’t do reservations. We showed up at 7:30pm and they weren’t busy so we thought we got lucky. Barely walked in the door and was automatically told to leave because we were supposed to call ahead of time for a reservation. If the lady and the guy who worked there were nicer about it I wouldn’t have left this review but in my opinion they were extremely rude and unprofessional. Guess they didn’t want to make easy couple hundred bucks. I would have gave zero stars but I had to pick at least 1.
8/30/2021- Since it won't let me respond to your response, I will add on to my original complaint. I was not "misinformed" as you can see I have a screenshot to show your businesses response stating for a "large group" we would have to call ahead of time to check availability otherwise it's "first come first serve." We did both- emailed and called. I won't engage in a pointless argument with you, considering you are proving my point on the lack of customer service your establishment has. For future reference don't call your customers "drunk, loud, and disruptive" and then try to invite them back. By the way, it was 7:30pm when we showed up and your place was our FIRST stop for the night. No one even had a drink at that point, so your assumptions were wrong and extremely offensive! Yes, we were there for my bachelorette party, so I am sorry if we didn't walk in silent, maybe you should inform your customers that you prefer NOT to have bachelorette/ bachelor parties hosted there since it is an "cozy & personal type setting". I am happy that you turned my group away because we had a great time at the bar across the street, I guess we fit in more there...I am starting to think this wasn't a reservation problem more so a wrong color problem. I want EVERYONE to see the type of business you...
Read moreWhile Brix Tasting Room has been a delightful find, a word of caution is necessary — their operating hours can be elusive. On more than one occasion, my attempt to visit was thwarted by unexpected closures. It would be prudent to call ahead to confirm their hours to avoid disappointment or look for the open flag at high mast out front.
That said, every successful visit to Brix Tasting Room has been a joy. The owner's warm welcome and friendly demeanor add a personal touch to the experience that is both refreshing and endearing.
The wine selection at Brix is extensive and rotates regularly, ensuring there's always something new to try. While this does mean that they may occasionally run out of your favorite, the opportunity to discover a new favorite is always exciting. They offer reasonably priced tasting flights from a limited menu, but I believe a bit of negotiation could open up tastes from the full menu if the flight options don't suit your preferences.
While the food menu may not be extensive, the quality of their offerings is impeccable. You can tell there's a great deal of care and pride put into each dish in terms of both taste and presentation. On my last visit, I enjoyed a baked brie dish that was absolutely divine.
The atmosphere inside Brix is cozy and inviting, making it a wonderful place to unwind. Their quaint, vine-clad patio offers a delightful space for al fresco dining and wining, adding a charming touch to the overall experience.
Service at Brix is consistently attentive. Each visit feels like a curated experience, with staff going above and beyond to make sure you're well taken care of.
In conclusion, Brix Tasting Room, despite its elusive hours, is a fantastic spot for wine lovers. With its wide variety of wines, quality food, and cozy atmosphere, it's a place that every wine enthusiast...
Read moreI was looking for a new winery because I was getting burnt out with Coopers Hawk. I stumbled across Brix and I do NOT regret it! When we walked in, the atmosphere was very welcoming. It is super cute for a date night or a small girls night. It’s a smaller mom and pop winery so the patrons are well acquainted with the owners. We were immediately given options for seating and suggestions were made to us. Initially, I thought our waiter was just a worker but he and his wife owns the place! They are SO sweet and they did not treat us like a stranger at all. We had a tasting each and a bottle of wine. They were very knowledgeable on what types of wines they had and was even open to suggestions on what they could add to their list.
Now keep in mind that this is a mom & pop style winery so their availability may not always match Google. We went the week prior and learned that the hard way. When mentioned to the owners he explained why they had to close. Totally respectful and apologetic. My only suggestions to patrons would be to follow their Facebook because it seems they are pretty current there. If you can get past that, I would say this winery is totally worth it! They’re also open later than normal wineries but it’s still very chill all throughout the night. We were there a little after closing to finish our bottle and never once did we feel like they were annoyed or fed up with waiting.
We have decided that this will be a...
