Wife and I 1st time, we drove 45 minutes to try them out. It was well worth it. Small place with big flavor and customer service. Got chicken tips 10 out of 10. Brisket was absolutely delicious 10 out of 10. We finished and went back in to order another 😅. Chicken Philly was on point too another 10 out of 10 on our humble opinion. The cheese burger was seasoned perfectly 10 out of 10!!!! For dessert we got the lemon crumble. 10 out of 10!!!!!!! We will definitely go again.

Just to add on 3 more reviews in one. We've gone back several times as promised. We spent 74.00 and we got Beef, chicken tips again, brisket, banana pudding, strawberry crumble cake and fries. Everything 10 out of 10. 3rd time we got the turkey chop, chicken Philly cheese, brisket sandwich, chicken tips, extra fries, banana pudding, strawberry crumble cake, peace cobbler, and mac and cheese. Spent 104.00 well worth it knocked it out of the park again. Today we chicken tips, brisket, orde of fries on the side, German chocolate cake and they gave us free dessert!!!!😊 I'm thoroughly impressed because again touch down with the spike! 10 out of 10. Can't wait for the new menu items😬🤤.

They deserve their google ratings ❤️🙌🏽! The food was amazing. I have never had takeout bbq this smoked and tender. The homemade sides mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, and cabbage was like a taste of Big Mama’s Sunday dinner! (If you know you know) The customer service was like I was Keith Lee in there 10/10. The lady that waited on me greeted me as I walked in, even though she was waiting on another person. She made sure to hand me a menu so I could look at what was offered all while not neglecting the person she was waiting on. When it was my turn she was well versed in answering all of my question's. She helped me pick out how to combine what I liked to get the best deal. I drove about 40 minutes to get there and it was worth it. My food was still warm when I got home and absolutely delicious 😋. They are located about a mile east of Blue Chip on US-12. We drove in from Chicago to do some shopping in the area and came across this little gem. Outstanding food!

We had the lunch special catfish sandwich with fries. The Catfish was well seasoned and had a nice, crisp cornmeal crust. Fries had good seasonings and were fresh and hot. Generous portion on both the fries and the fish. $7. You can’t get that price at McD’s!

We also shared the brisket dinner and chose Mac and cheese and the cabbage as the sides. Brisket was out of this world tender, nice hit of smoke, bbq sauce had a good kick to it. I could eat that Mac and cheese every day for the rest of my life, it was so good! And the cabbage had good seasonings and nice big hunks of pork. For $14, it was a steal.

Staff and owner were very friendly and really seemed to care if we were happy with the food. You can tell they take pride in their restaurant, as they should.

Theres Counter service with a picnic table outside. They plan on expanding the patio to include more seating this summer.
