New China Express — Restaurant in Middlesborough

I went to this restaurant during the winter time there was a very long line. This was very frustrating because if you called in a order you have to wait in the back of the line that’s fine. If you order food at the window when you finally got to it they say go wait in line again after I paid for my food. The wait was so long I was there at least one hour waiting for the food I ordered and paid for. Then when it was my turn again to pick up my food that I called in they gave me my bags then said go back outside in line we forgot one item and told me it was almost done I looked outside and there we go again there had been at least 20 people standing there waiting like I was and I said nope I’m not doing that they said well the rest of your order is going to be a couple more minutes. I said that’s fine but I’m standing here I am not going to go in the back out to that long line it took me almost 1 hour to get from the back to this window I told them. They looked annoyed but by this time I was cold and tired of waiting on them. I told them They need a better system to get food out to there customers much sooner. I haven’t gone back since. Not gonna lie, I'm always a little apprehensive about trying something new. Especially when the food comes from a building that reminds me a little of a movie or video game set in an disease ridden apocalypse setting. Its just a really old building and that's what it reminds of. But the food was amazing. I had the General Tso's chicken and Orange chicken. Both came with yellow fried rice. Honestly, if i had more room in my stomach, I'd go back and get more. But be warned, they are a cash only restaurant. If they had been able to find a newer building, or at least one that didn't look so run down, id have given them a 5 star rating. The building is literally the biggest problem I've seen with this restaurant so far. But as long as the food is top notch, i don't care if it looks like im eating in a restaurant from Nightmare...
