This experience does not even deserve a star, but I am putting one. EVERY time I go to this store there is error after error and total disorganization, but usually there are other customers present, so I write it off as them being busy.
Today, I ordered online and waited for the "pizza tracker" to state the order was ready prior to leaving to get it (to avoid the wait I USUALLY experience). I get there and the store is EMPTY. No one in sight. I clear my throat, I tap on the metal counter gently, make my keys loud, but NO ONE comes to the front. My food is sitting in the window, done, and I paid online; so all I need is for someone to hand it to me!
After about 5 minutes a driver returns from a delivery and asks if I have been helped, which I say no. He checks the window order and realizes that is what I am getting. He goes to the back of the store (still in eye sight) and states to someone sitting down that there is a customer waiting for a to go order. NOTHING. He repeats this about 5 times in the span of 15-20 minutes. AGAIN THE FOOD IS DONE!
As I wait for the seated worker to feel that a customer is a good enough reason to get up, the driver continues to pester them to get them to help me. While doing so, a young child (under 2 years) proceeds to come into view. This little girl walked around the kitchen of a restaurant, BAREFOOT! The driver tried to corral her and repeated again that a customer was waiting to the seated worker, but no one came and child had free run of the kitchen.
Finally, about 20 minutes later, the seated worker (a woman) comes to the front and apologizes. She asks if I am waiting for a pick up. I say yes. Granted, I am annoyed, but I plan to be civil. Then I realize, I should check the order is right after all this (I ordered extra sauces). So I open the boxes and every sauce is incorrect (two) and the added sauces FOR AN UNCHARGE (two) are missing. I tell her, she interrupts me to blame it on the drivers, stating they prepare the order not her (WHAT WHILE SHE SITS AND RELAXES!?). She gets the correct sauces and I return the incorrect sauces, to which she says "you don't want these?".... NO I DON'T WANT THE INCORRECT SAUCES AS I JUST INFORMED YOU, WHICH IS WHY YOU ARE GETTING THE RIGHT ONES! She repeats that it is the drivers fault, so finally I say "I could have corrected the error earlier had someone been present in the store" and I left. As I left she gave me a confused work.
Ironically, there is sign hanging in the store stating "Non-negotiable policy #2: Customers come first". Well, then she should be fired! And if children can run the kitchen barefoot, it makes me question what the employees do (health wise) in the kitchen. Furthermore, I was not even requested to sign my credit card receipt (merchant or customer copy). I will never return to...
Read moreI am a frequent customer of store #3466. I ordinarily receive prompt and courteous service. To my dismay, I placed an order and it took over 3 hrs to receive. I contacted the store directly to inquire about the status and the person whom I spoke with showed no empathy and was extremely unprofessional. She did not try to resolve my issue and to make matters worse she proceeded to hang up on me not once but 3 times. This experience was unbelievable. I called back and requested to speak with a manager and was advised 3 separate times that the manager was not available. When I finally spoke with the manager after 1 week of trying to contact her, she advised there is NO POSSIBLE WAY she could refund me. She then advised me to contact corporate or the media if I wanted to and various times disconnected the call after me trying to call back and get her name and a resolution. I cannot believe Papa John's would treat their customers in this manner. I contacted Corporate advised they would reach out to me within 24-48 hours. I received a call the next day and the person on the phone stated he was from corporate but could not refund my money and to contact my financial institution to dispute the charge. I advised I will not do such a thing and this needs to be handled internally. This same person called me back after confirming with doordash that my food was not delivered and advised that they will refund my money. It took me 8 days to get granted a refund for food I never received. This experience was horrendous and I am very disappointed in this company and will never do business with this company again.The funny thing is that the person that said that was from corporate ask me if I wanted to pick up the receipt or text to me advised I will not step foot in that store. I get a text message from the associated supposedly from corporate but the picture from my receipt you see the store in the background. Read moreI have an issue with this particular Papa John's. I live 8 min according to Google from this location and tonight I decided to order delivery. I ordered online as always, paid with a credit card, and as always pre pay my tip on the card.
I received an email stating that my pizza would arrive aprox 45 min. No big deal as I was watching a movie, it's Fri night, I understand places get busy etc. I look at the tracker and the eat time of arrival is now an hour. I am more inclined to think had I know I would wait an hour or more for a. Single large pizza I would have ordered elsewhere but at this point I don't have any other choice.
I watch the tracker as the pizza leaves for delivery and amazingly the time of delivery has come in gone no pizza. I wait just under an hour and twenty minutes for the pizza. Mind you I have already been charged including my prepaid tip.
My pizza comes and I am not surprised it is cold to the touch. I would call and complain , but then what , wait another hour and a half for a replacement.
Not fair for you to charge me for a service and a product that is subpar. Not to mention I tipped for that sub par pizza and service.
