Mosaic Art Studio Somerset — Attraction in Green Brook Township

I can't LOVE this experience more! I've been to TWO classes and it's been 2-3 hours of fun each time. Bring your friends, family, whoever...they will LOVE it with you too! You don't need a creative bone in your body. The instructor helps you throughout the entire process, there are many examples in the room from which to get inspiration and your creative juices start flowing as you start laying out the glass pieces. You'll leave with a beautiful creation your hands made (they'll send you home with a box and pretty gift bag to carry your lamp home) and great memories. Meet new friends too! I had such a wonderful time at the Mosaic Art Studio Turkish lamp workshop! The entire experience was relaxing, creative, and surprisingly therapeutic. The moon lamp turned out to be much bigger than I expected and I ended up switching to the mini moon design and it worked out beautifully.

Kapili, our lovely hostess, made the whole workshop feel warm and welcoming. She was patient, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about the art of mosaic. Her guidance made it easy to follow along, even for someone like me with no prior experience. I left the workshop not only with a beautiful lamp but also with a sense of pride in creating something by hand.

Came for an activity to do on a girls trip! The new location for Somerset, NJ is a great meeting point (our group was coming from NY, NJ and DE). Our instructor was very knowledgeable about the history of how mosaics started and how it is practiced today. The art is beautiful, the experience was fun and the hospitality was so welcoming! The Turkish tea and Turkish delight that were served were great! Our instructor also let us know upcoming classes beyond mosaics that they will be offering.
